I have a question about the property in dispute. HKS has another house that he paid 900k for and it is reported that it didn't buy him much. Yet, the house ANS was to buy was 900k and it looks like a nice house and is supposed to be on the beach or have an ocean view.

Now, Thompson wants to sell it for 10 million. ANS was to buy it for 900k.

What is the market value of that house..not withstanding the ANS saga causing an increase in value.

The reason I ask is that real estate is an often used means to launder money.

So how much was the property worth when Thompson bought it and who was the owner at that time,

I wrote on this earlier in the day. He put that price on it because if someone offers him $10 mill, he has to take it.

In the meantime, if Howard's relatives are thinking of buying it, they need $10 mill. In the meantime, he can still take a lower amount from anyone he pleases.

I use the phrase "You can't sell what you don't own" in the legal context of my business. It apllies here.

I don't think I answered your question. I can see where this entails money laundering. It's the market and that's the way it is. I bought my house for $50,000. 8 years later, after cosmetic improvements only, I sold it for $100,000. If Elvis had slept there :-), I probably could have got $1 million. Still not laundering.

The 10 carat ring is laundering, the guarter mil boat is laundering, the Rolex was laundering. They are possessed by Howard.
