Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

In defense of FReepers - I think we have always understood the importance of legitimacy in the institution of traditional marriage.
It protects the CHILDREN and prevents charlatans, perverts and greedy,seedy lawyers from capitalizing on family loss.
This case(s) is the best illustration of what our society has wrought with all of its moral liberalism.
Insurance companies don't like to pay out if they believe there's been foul play. If there are any insurance policies, we just might be hearing about them!
If they set up a trust, I don't think Stern will be involved; he may very well be in jail by then. :-)
I saw an interesting comment on TMZ. a Poster said Danielynn was born in the Bahamas and their rules say that as a minor all money would be handed over to them to control until her 18th birthday.

HKS has told us the ANS had tried to commit suicide a couple of times, so he should have been concerned about the state of will.
Is that assuming Dannielynn is a citizen of the Bahamas?

I don't believe him. She was living for that money. The story about her being found in the swimming pool....likely fell in or nodded off under the influence of Methadone and other drugs.

IIRC that pool suicide story was corroborated by the Dec affidavit of the nanny that was released yesterday.

Dershowitz has no clue...has not done his homework. He is indicating that HKS is the one who seems to have the child's best interest at hand and that ALL the other potential fathers are just in it for the money, including Larry Birkhead.

Supplying drugs? Given by a scum doctor.
Legal malpractice? Disbarred perhaps.

If a USA citizen/tourist, (single mother) has a baby in the Bahamas and the father is a US citizen - what citizenship does the baby have?

With no mention of how she entered the pool. Fell of a raft while sunbathing and zonked out on drugs? Easier ways to commit suicide and she had all the drugs necessary for an overdose suicide and then some.

I hope they are able to play it in court.
I thought it was agreed that the baby automatically becomes a citizen of the Bahamas if born there. A strategic move indeed.
