Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I wondered if Howard would try to claim that a new will was at the home but it was stolen in the break-in.

I'm getting in here late, but have been following Court TV this morning. This judge may end up probating the will... here is why according to Florida law if you die in Florida and live in USA Florida probates the will, if you live in a foreign country it probates in the foreign country, BUT Bahamas law states if you don't die in Bahamas your will is not probated in the Bahamas. This judge would 99.9% likely want to know who the father if Dannielynn is.
There was some girl on today saying that they have a tape of Howard slamming the phone down on them when Anna called them and you could hear him yelling, "You know you're not suppose to be making phone calls."
I think the will is invalid, as far as Daniel and his estate are concerned as his death preceded hers. But, the minor child being excluded will be overturned as invalid and he can make the case that it was oversight or time constrained to change.
This will be tied up in court for a long time.

I feel the same way. As her attorney, which he held himself out to be, in the paternity case, he shouldn't have been fighting for HKS to be declared the father.

Oh, my God! I hadn't even considered that angle in this mess. Billie "could" end up with all of Daniels injeritances.
Insurance policies are more or less hidden from the public....the holder and the company being privy.
I'll bet there's a couple of BIGGGGGGGG ones and they'll go right to an offshore account. If Howard is the beneficiary, so be it. Check on Daniel's, too.
Does Indian Tribal Land have it's own laws concerning the probate of a will?
It would make sense that Howard would be sure to take care of large insurance policies if he was unable to get ANS to update her will. He may have suspected that she would die without much in the way of assets.
Yep, the insurance policies are probably where the money is really going to be for him.
And being in control of the trust....if it was set up or still can be for minor child.
