Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Now her family interviewed and said HKS used Anna.
All three of Anna's siblings spoke out and said HKS brainwashed her and was after her money... that he isolated her and drove wedge between her and her family. He wouldn't let them talk to Anna.
Oh you poor thing! Are you in Illinois? I saw Champaign on the FOX today, nasty, nasty weather. I wouldn't want to be out in it.

Is a traffic ticket the first real clue that Larry Birkhead is the real father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby Dannielynn? Since the courts have yet to step up and force Howard K. Stern to submit Anna Nicole's infant daughter for a paternity test it is now up to creative detective work to piece together who exactly fathered that baby.
AOL's TMZ.com does just that and uses a traffic ticket as the clue that may prove that Larry Birkhead at least believed that he was the little baby girl's birth father.

Here’s how the website explains the situation. Rewind to April 15, 2006. Sources tell TMZ a pregnant Anna had just gotten into a fight with Howard K. Stern, who was expressing extreme jealousy over the fact that Birkhead was the father of the baby. Sources say Stern gave Anna an ultimatum -- him or me.
The web site reports that it has learned that an extremely emotional Anna, who was barefoot and four months pregnant, called Birkhead and asked him to meet her in the parking lot of the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, Calif. near her house. A concerned Birkhead jumped in his car and sped over, only to be stopped by a Burbank cop.

The officer who issued the speeding ticket quoted Birkhead -- "I got a call from my pregnant wife, she's sick."
TMZ puts on its lawyer hat and speculates that the ticket is significant because Birkhead's statement was a spontaneous reaction to the event and not in the context of a paternity battle. Debra Opri, Birkhead's lawyer, tells TMZ Birkhead referred to Anna as his "girlfriend" but the cop wrote "wife."

In all of the online polls I've seen, people believe that Larry Birkhead is the father over Howard K. Stern by about 3-1. And as this is 2007, it should be simple with a quick swab and some DNA. But with Stern holed up in the Bahamas only to emerge with what many believe are crocodile tears each night on ET, the drama continues.

Vergie had 6 kids to raise on her own. She seems like a 'down home' person, probably not one to ask for or able to afford 'outside, professional' help with her children.
More disturbing are the so-called psychiatrists/MDs that have been involved with ANC during her self-destruction.
Many of us have commented on how ANC's behavior was out of control during her short life.
Let's also look at the idiot who did nothing to get her off drugs and who may have in fact enabled her and her son to get drugs that killed both of them.
Let's compare ANC's background, her lack of education and poor taste in men to HKS' law degree and subsequent pathological behavior - whose life was more productive?

An emergency hearing in the Anna Nicole Smith paternity case has been scheduled for Wednesday concerning a filing Tuesday afternoon by an attorney representing Smith's ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead.
Birkhead claims he is the father of Smith's 5-month-old daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, not Smith's companion Howard K. Stern, whose name is on the baby's birth certificate.
The reason for the hearing, according to the filing, is to require the preservation of Smith's body for DNA paternity testing
Last Friday, a judge refused to order an emergency DNA test on Smith's body requested by Birkhead. The judge did, however, order Smith's body to be preserved until a Feb. 20 hearing.
Smith's mother Virgie Arthur has hired a Florida lawyer to get Smith's body released for burial, TMZ.com is reporting.
Earlier Tuesday, Dr. Joshua Perper, the Broward County medical examiner who performed the autopsy on Smith, told FOX News he wants to release her body to the legal next of kin as soon as possible.
Oh what a tangled web we weave? All I can say, is I hope Larry proves his paternity in a case of law. I have, had? no use for ANS. A user and abuser, as far as I could tell. And totally, none to bright. The absolute optimum of the dumb blond. She made all women look bad. I can't forgive her for that. As hard as we try to make steps forward, women like ANS set us back another 3. I'm sorry for her, but as long as we have women like her, sexualizing themselves, nothing will change. They will continue to die. And of course, it is all accidental.

Anna's Mom Lawyers Up

TMZ has learned Anna Nicole Smith's mother has hired a Florida lawyer to get Anna's body released for burial.
We've confirmed that Virgie Arthur has hired Coral Gables attorney Stephen Tunstall to secure the body. But there's a catch: There are two outstanding California court orders preventing burial. A judge has put a hold on the release of the body; a second order demands a DNA sample from Smith.
We're told Larry Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, will ask a Miami court to "domesticate" both orders from the California court. If granted, the orders would have full force and effect in Florida. We're told Opri is making the requests in Florida today and tomorrow.
But there's a twist. We're told Birkhead has no objections to releasing the body, provided he gets a DNA sample sent to the lab he selected. For some reason, we're told Stephen Tunstall has not agreed to release the DNA to Birkhead's lab.
TMZ spoke with Tunstall, who said "I have been retained by Virgie. I do not wish to have any contact with anybody in the media."
