Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
That's funny. The lawyer for Thompson on Nancy Grace said Thompson and his people didn't take the pics.
There may be a deed but there may also be a mortgage which reverts the house for non-payment. If it's not through a bank, it's usually means missing only ONE payment.
Watched Gretta, ET and Access Hollywood. ET and AH had identical footage with identical wording. I found that strange.
>>>As for Larry Birkhead, the man who claims that he might be the father of Smith's infant daughter, Dannielynn, she said: "Larry Birkhead was not her boyfriend. There were times of some intimacy." >>>
Oh whatever!!! Anyone who saw that show saw how she had NO attraction for him whatsoever. And a woman can let herself fall in love with someone who she has SOME physical attraction for, but very very rarely will she be involved with someone she has NO desire for. You can see in the photo's of her with Larry Birkhead her affection for her. I think that either his sister is a liar or believes her brother's line of crap. And I think HKS had Anna believing that being 'with him' and naming him as the father was the only way to keep Larry Birkhead from getting CUSTODY of her baby. And she fell for it. With help from her shrink in on the plot.
Jeez. That whole Stern family is NUTS!
I think Anna's mom got it backwards. She should have claimed her daughter's body; then sussed out the probability of being allowed to see the baby. I do have to wonder why she thought HKS would allowed her to see the baby given the fact that she's accused him of murdering Daniel and possibly Anna as well. I've seen the video of Anna saying "I hate that woman (her mother)" on AH and she was shaking and very angry when she said it.
Can't he say just about anything now that she can't dispute it?
The marriage was/is not legal. It was a commitment ceremony.
I didn't mean in reference to custody but visitations. Probably varies by state. But at least in some states if the parents are divorced or one dies, the grandparents have visitation rights.
I wonder how good an attorney Debra Opri is???? Saw Gloria on last night... she seems luke warm for getting the baby away from Stern.
I think that's why they chose the Bahamas. He will not be required, by Bahamian law, to take a DNA test, from what I understand. And I hope I'm wrong.
I think Debra Opri is in over her head. She'd better get "tight" with a legal eagle in the Bahamas. And quick.
I'm sure Anna and her mother had issues and that Anna was not fond of her mother. If I remember right, her stepfather kicked her out when she was a child because he didn't want her there. I'm sure that in itself caused a lot of pain.
She did allow her mother to take of Daniel for several years, so there must have been at least SOME feeling there, but maybe not much. I think HKS leeched on that issue and poisoned the already not good relationship with her mother beyond repair.
>>>Strange how everyone wants Larry Birkhead to get the girl! A type of tribal good judgement & instinct!
And we want it done NOW! >>>
Instinct is RIGHT! I think all of us have good judgement on who is sincere and who is full of crap. 99% of us on FR think HKS is a Scott Peterson phony and Birkhead has seemed sincere in his plight from day one, BEFORE she died.
Funny though, the CNN (visited mainly by leftists) seem to believe Stern. Hmmmm, very interesting...
I had the same thought last night. But here's the thing. What did HK$ say, when ANS introduced Dannilynn as her "sister"? Did he just sit there and not acknowledge that he was the father? And why?
I need to find that link to the old thread. When did HK$ first claim that he was the father?
That's how I understand it as well. The feud arose over something to do with the stepfather.
Isn't that the way it always is? Conservatives see white; liberals see black. Hannity/Colmes.
I've used them for my dogs in the past.... but they are fed raw so don't really need them. There is a homeopathic pancreas you could try. Elixirs.com sells it... All you need is one pill disolved in some liquid on a spoon and then one or two drops on kitty's gums.
I don't really buy that. Linda Deutsch of the AP, was supposed to be doing 'background' research on HK$, (she was on Greta last night) and it was hardly more research than putting his name in google. They know were he grew up, they know where he went to college, they can't find any people who knew him?
Pure laziness.
DR. JOSHUA PERPER, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, CHIEF MEDICAL EXAMINER: We competed our examination. We completed our autopsy.
And, at this time, the -- the medical examiner's office is prepared to release the body to the proper custodian of records. We received information that perhaps we will get a court request to delay the release of the body, and we didn't receive it. Obviously, we are going to honor any legitimate court request. KING: Yes.
What, if anything, was significant about this autopsy?
PERPER: Well, I think that the most significant thing about this autopsy was that it was an unexpected, sudden, and unexplained death in a young individual, in a young woman, who was 39 years old, and had, ultimately, some kind of minor stomach flu.
So, under those circumstances, and under the Florida law, such cases are under the -- such cases are under the jurisdiction of the medical examiner. And that's what they did in this case.
KING: Was there anything in the stomach that might lead you to cause of death?
PERPER: Well, what the autopsy was very significant is that we were able to exclude physical trauma, such as gunshot wound or stab wounds or blunt-force trauma. We were able to exclude choking on her own vomit (INAUDIBLE)
And the findings were basically very minor findings in the heart and in some of the intestines, which would have to be verified microscopically. In the stomach, we found only a very small amount of blood, which -- we believe that the bleeding occurred very shortly before she died, and, therefore, is not really significant. It just reflects terminal shock.
KING: Any evidence that she was suffering from any kind of illness?
PERPER: Well, she had a somewhat enlarged liver, but there was no evidence, grossly, of any significant natural disease.
Her heart was quite healthy, except for some, as I said, minor findings, which will have to be examined microscopically. However, we well know that, sometimes, the naked-eye examination may be misleading, and further testing -- and we did a lot of very extensive testing, and we will do more, including microscopic examination -- might reveal evidence of natural disease.
So, basically, there are three -- three possibilities, or three options of diagnosis in this case. Either the death was due solely to natural causes -- and, in fact, she was sick for three days, so this is a reasonable assumption -- or it was due to some kind of medication or drugs, or to a combination of natural disease or medication.
And, in this time, we really cannot make up this determination, because we lack the results of the test. Eventually, we will be able to choose the proper one.
KING: And, finally, have you ruled out foul play?
PERPER: Well, as I said, we were able to rule out foul play as a result of physical violence.
KING: Right, but -- but by poisoning?
PERPER: We did not yet -- we did not -- yes -- we did not rule out yet foul play in terms of chemical violence...

Is Anna's biological father still around?
