Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Pretty, but such a sad look ...
Where'd you hear that?

Celebrity's house battle continues despite death
By INDIRIA SAUNDERS, Guardian Staff Reporter

Just hours after the death of Anna Nicole Smith, housing, paternity and inquest matters that involved the controversial celebrity during her life begin hounding the star during her death.
Less than four hours after Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead at Florida Memorial Hospital yesterday, her former lover, G Ben Thompson's Bahamian attorney, Godfrey "Pro" Pinder, declared that with the death of the former Playboy playmate died her claim to the much debated Horizons House on the Eastern Road.
As Ms. Smith's body lay in a Florida morgue yesterday, Mr. Pinder said a security crew was at the disputed house "securing it" for Mr. Thompson.
"With her death dies the case," Mr. Pinder told The Guardian yesterday. "The House belongs to G. Ben Thompson. He was only allowing her to stay there because she was a friend and she just had a baby, and you don't throw a lady out."
"Anna Nicole Smith of late thought she was given the house as a gift because they were intimate, but you cannot give land or house unless it was written. She was upset that the man was not giving her the house as a gift because she was intimate with him."
Speaking on behalf of his client, Mr. Pinder said Mr. Thompson was very saddened by her death and that he was also sorry that her life had to end "however it ended". Ms. Smith's attorney, Wayne Munroe, said yesterday that her death does not signal the end of her legal matters.
In the Inquest of her 20-year-old son Daniel Smith, Chief Magistrate, Roger Gomez, said "yes" that the inquest is still scheduled for Monday the 27th of March, 2007 for which Ms. Smith would have been called as witness.
"Anyone who was present in the room at the time of his death or anywhere around that time of his death will be called as a witness," Magistrate Gomez told members of the press last month.
In matters involving the paternity testing of Dannielynn, Mr. Gomez said that the test which would have been conducted here in The Bahamas, as Anna Nicole formerly stipulated, will more than like be done "in the States" now after her death.

She was very pretty. Period. But look at how sad her eyes were even then.
