Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

That seems to make the most sense - have we determined whether or not the dose(s) found in Daniel would/would not have killed ANS.

She was on post-partum medication- but weighed more than Daniel....

We simply don't know the dynamics of that hospital visit - whether Daniel acted up - or hid his feelings - too bad that ANS cannot testify.

In the Larry King transcript with Jackie Hatten yesterday, he asked about the falling out with Virgie and Jackie alluded to something that Virgie knew about a Stepfather and ANS and it was the root of the problem.

ANS was not a stupid woman, she was uneducated, but I think it goes even deeper.

It turns out that one of the stories last night on A&E's intervention was a young woman, wild and out of control who had been molested as a child. This young woman drank to excess and then self-mutiliated herself. There is many ways to self-mutilate and I think ANS spent most of her life self-mutilating...

Whatever this incident was Jackie referred to, she fell into a bad crowd at school, left married too young; was bi-sexual (which is not uncommon in women who have been molested as a child), but loved her son with great intensity.

This is a woman who only agreed to marry one man ... a man she never slept with. I cannot believe she didn't have other offers. I think she used men, she didn't want to be used by men (again indicative of being abused at a young age)..

I'm rambling here, but that show last night kind of brought be full circle in what I've been thinking for weeks now. They got this young woman into a treatment center for people who have been abused to allow her to deal with the depts of her soul where she was hurting, angry and lashing out at her own body because she felt worthless as a human being. I think a similar intervention/treatment could have saved ANS...

There may have been sexual molestation in ANS' childhood - resulting in her self-destructive behavior and bi-sexual promiscuity.

Wonder what family skeletons her half-sister's book "Train Wreck" will include.

I agree and I think the result of that is how she lived her life. I don't think it was totally the reason, but the majority reason. I think to some degree she went after the hedonistic lifestyle.
I wonder why she felt she had to run so desperately from Larry? The only thing I can figure is that she knew she was getting older and her "charms" may not last much longer in the sense she was used to. I think when she got to S. Carolina and met Ben she saw a chance for financial security, hence the insistence that it was Ben's baby.

Tolerance is the key. People who take these drugs need more and more to get the same sort of results. My brother-in-law was taking over 500 Vicodin a month at one point. 500 a month would kill me, yet he functioned.

She may have run from Larry because he truly loved her --... not her body or the image, but the person. Most people who have been molested at a young age feel worthless and unloveable and run from what could make them happy, chosing the road they can control.

Love isn't always something that gives you a feeling of being in control, she probably couldn't deal with that, thus pick a fight with him over something totally unimportant (sunglasses) and then when he leaves you are proved correct -- see he didn't really love me! Self-fulfilling actions.

Daniel is all she felt safe loving with abandon, so much so that she really suffocated him. I remember watching news footage of him with her at Marshall's funeral and again at the trial in Texas and how she leaned on him to help her.

Too much leaning on for a young child. She was such a broken person that he was more parent than child.

NEW YORK, March 5 (UPI) — An agreement between two men claiming to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby would be for the best, the sister of one said in a New York interview.

Howard K. Stern, Smith's companion, and Larry Birkhead, Smith's ex-lover, both claim to be the father of 5-month-old Dannielynn. Paternity and custody papers have been filed in both California and Bahamian courts.

The best case scenario moving forward would be that Howard and Larry Birkhead come to a mutual resolve, Bonnie Stern, Howard sister, said during an interview Monday on Inside Edition.

Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, speaking with Inside Edition, denied reports of an alleged deal between her client and Stern.

I will not allow a child to be used as a bargaining chip, Opri said.

Bonnie Stern said she was concerned about her brother immediately following Smith death Feb. 8.

Dannielynn was the one thing that brought him back to life, she said. If it wasn't for (Dannielynn), I don't know if my brother would be here today.

Regarding Virgie Arthur, Smith's estranged mother, Bonnie Stern said, she should return to Texas where she belongs

Anna Nicole Smith Body Bag Pics, No Birkhead/Stern Deal

Anna Nicole Smith death pictures (in a body bag) have surfaced on the net. Or have they? The National Enquirer published "recreated" photographs of the corpse of Anna Nicole Smith this week. The magazine claimed that the photos were not real, but enhanced images from eyewitness accounts.
Either way, the Anna Nicole Smith death photos are in poor taste.

Also, our friends at TMZ.com have learned that there will be no negotiating between Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead.

TMZ has more:

'Debra Opri says the only subject of negotiation is "how fast he [Stern] will produce the child for a DNA test and how quickly he will allow that child to go to California with her real father."

As TMZ has been reporting, Stern has been asking Birkhead for some involvement in Dannielynn's financial affairs after paternity is established. Now Opri says, "There were never any deals. It was a one-sided discussion."

Opri tells TMZ she did not want to respond to Stern's overtures until after the funeral. Birkhead's hardline stance now puts the ball in Stern's court -- will he submit Dannielynn for DNA testing or will the fight escalate?'


As far as the corpse photos go, the New York Post claims that the photos are in fact real and that the National Enquirer decided to go with the Photoshop fabrication so that no one got fired at the morgue where the photos would have had to be taken.

You didnt miss much, it wasn't to informative, much of the same old stuff. They had Pat O'Brien on and showed a clip that I hadn't seen before. It was filmed a week or so before she died, they had been filming all morning at different locations and he said she was just fine then he asked about Daniel and she said she didn't feel well so he took her back to the house and literally had to help her up the steps.

Then they had Goen with his usual blah blah blah (purely pro Howard)

The guy that claims she told him she had lupus was also there and he said she confided to him that she had a lupus a blood disorder. Dr Phil said that lupus was not a blood disorder. hmmm

Then Dr. Phil suggest that they should put money aside and focus on the child. I doubt that Howard will not feel the same way. lol

Whether or not she was a whore isn't going to make a big difference at HKS's trial imo. Yes she did lead a very immoral life. But she was by nearly all accounts a nice person who had a hard early life and i think people felt sorry for her. And no matter how hard the defense hits on Anna, (a tactic which i think will backfire) HKS will still look worse. The drug pusher, the greedy picture pimp, the leech, the obsessive stalker, the manipulator of Anna. And eventually, the jury will conclude: the murderer.
