Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Article 8
Preservation of identity
The State has an obligation to protect, and if necessary, re- establish basic aspects of the child’s identity. This includes name, nationality and family ties.
1. States Parties undertake to respect the right of the child to preserve his or her identity, including nationality, name and family relations as recognised by law without unlawful interference.
2. Where a child is illegally deprived of some or all of the elements of his or her identity, States Parties shall provide appropriate assistance and protection, with a view to speedily re-establishing his or her identity.
Article 9
Separation from parents
The child has a right to live with his or her parents unless this is deemed to be incompatible with the child’s best interests. The child also has the right to maintain contact with both parents if separated from one or both.
1. States Parties shall ensure that a child shall not be separated from his or her parents against their will, except when competent authorities subject to judicial review determine, in accordance with applicable law and procedures, that such separation is necessary for the best interests of the child. Such determination may be necessary in a particular case such as one involving abuse or neglect of the child by the parents, or one where the parents are living separately and a decision must be made as to the child’s place of residence.
2. In any proceedings pursuant to paragraph 1 of the present article, all interested parties shall be given an opportunity to participate in the proceedings and make their views known.
3. States Parties shall respect the right of the child who is separated from one or both parents to maintain personal relations and direct contact with both parents on a regular basis, except if it is contrary to the child’s best interests. 4. Where such separation results from any action initiated by a State Party, such as the detention, imprisonment, exile, deportation or death (including death arising from any cause while the person is in the custody of the State) of one or both parents or of the child, that State Party shall, upon request, provide the parents, the child or, if appropriate, another member of the family with the essential information concerning the whereabouts of the absent member(s) of the family unless the provision of the information would be detrimental to the well-being of the child. States Parties shall further ensure that the submission of such a request shall of itself entail no adverse consequences for the person(s) concerned.
Article 10
Family reunification
Children and their parents have the right to leave any country and to enter their own for purposes of reunion or the maintenance of the child-parent relationship.
1. In accordance with the obligation of States Parties under article 9, paragraph 1, applications by a child or his or her parents to enter or leave a State Party for the purpose of family reunification shall be dealt with by States Parties in a positive, humane and expeditious manner. States Parties shall further ensure that the submission of such a request shall entail no adverse consequences for the applicants and for the members of their family.
2. A child whose parents reside in different States shall have the right to maintain on a regular basis, save in exceptional circumstances personal relations and direct contacts with both parents. Towards that end and in accordance with the obligation of States Parties under article 9, paragraph 1, States Parties shall respect the right of the child and his or her parents to leave any country, including their own, and to enter their own country. The right to leave any country shall be subject only to such restrictions as are prescribed by law and which are necessary to protect the national security, public order (order public), public health or morals or the rights and freedoms of others and are consistent with the other rights recognised in the present Convention.
I think his change of direction is the suspected Lupus, he must look into it to see if it played factor into her death. That does not mean that she died because of Lupus.
Thank you for that report in 21,349. Geraldo had Dr. Perper on (again) tonight and tried several times to get him to say this or that about the final autopsy reports. Perper would not tell anything. Geraldo asked about Lupus and then about drugs - but Perper wouldn't tell anything about the diagnosis of what killed Anna. He did say that they investigative tests were going in one direction and then they found something and it changed the direction of the investigation....whatever that means.
Did Dr. Perper say when he is going to announce the findings?

Cause of death becomes public information 50 years following the death. Prior to that time, cause of death is considered confidential by Florida law.
Surely Gomez is aware. The article is from January 2007, so maybe the FNM forced a reinstitution of the Coroner's Court.
She was obviously unable to be consoled.....but I wonder how this explosive expression by Anna Nicole at Daniel's funeral made Howie feel.....more determined that she would go next...so she would not ever know (in this life) why "God took Daniel away from" her.
I had thought of the motive to keep the prime eyewitness to Daniel's drug use unable to testify (because she's dead). But I had not really thought about the pure hatred Anna would have for Stern if/when the inquest revealed Stern'a participation in Daniel's death. Bye bye money, bye by leech life. Bye bye all the money from Anna.
More motive - Howie couldn't take that chance.
Here is the other kicker... (looks like Virgie will not be able to get a copy of the Death Cert that says what killed her and if Stern wants that info held back he could do it by what is written below)

I really think that Stern gave Anna her Methadone fix at her request in the yellow drink cup and that Daniel drank from it without knowing the Methadone was mixed in with drink in the yellow cup.

But now it will be all Anna's fault. Plausible deniability. I think he will try to pin it on Daniel first somehow, but if pushed he will "confess" that Anna caused it to happen.

So does this mean they ministry never did receive the $10,000 check or that it was not required after all? It was just a pure bribe that ANS and Stern gave Gibson?
