Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Bet she'll be cremated and want the DNA before cremation could take place.
The EMS guys named him as being in the room when they were there.
And what is the deal with the 2 minute movie sold for $500,000 that is on the Access Hollywood site? Who the hell took that?
When do you think Barbara Walters is going to get a clue?
"...on the stand"?
You need to do some research about The Supreme Court.

Yeppers - fever, "icing," flulike symptoms, fall in bathtub, near-drowning, private nurse on standby, bodyguard adept in CPR. Hmmmm.
No I missed it, I was listening not watching.
Wouldn't you think that with all of that going on, those "concerned people" around her would be on special alert?
Yet when she went into medical distress yesterday, it took an awfully long time to get help.
Also, if you had a fever of 105 degrees, wouldn't most people go the ER?
He's Paul Snider come back to life.
Just read on tmz.com that a persons who checked on Anna said it looked like she choked on her own vomit. Also that police found narcotics in her room--is methadone considered a narcotic?
I keep seeing that $500,000 figure being touted on some sensationalistic website somebody linked and keeps quoting, but the national feed to our local news is saying that it's an ongoing auction by a news service and the bidding is just at $250,000.
They also say you can't tell at all who it is on the gurney or in the ambulance.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Barbara used to be a pretty shrewd gal...
Good grief...that sounds very similar to the way her son died??
I get up at 4 a.m. to prepare for work. I really listen MSNBC cable news whatever the name of it is while getting ready and Imus starts at 5 a.m., 15 or 20 minutes prior to me leaving out.
At that time of the morning it is slim pickings.

Why does he need ANS dna?>>>
To prove that they did not get another baby's DNA for the test.
From TMZ:
Smith's Final Moments Sell for $500,000
The footage of Anna Nicole Smith's last moments sold for more than $500,000, just hours after Smith's death in Hollywood, Fla., according to Splash News & Picture Agency, as reported by FOX News. The two-minute video, according to sources, shows paramedics working on the unresponsive actress, and her body being wheeled out on a gurney. The paramedics, according to a producer who viewed it, appear to pull the gurney back out of the ambulance to administer CPR again. But, adds the producer, the body is not readily identifiable as Anna Nicole Smith.
They did not even provide any credits for the scrub.
Barbara has sold out.
Things that make you go hmmmmmm
