Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
It wouldn't have served them well in an official test, but for their OWN benefit, they'd know who the Daddy was.

Do you think Virgie can ask the Bahamian Courts for a DNA test? Would she have more standing than LB? She certainly should have more standing than HK$.
I still don't understand how HK$ was able to control her visit with the baby! He's not the guardian!

The only thing I can think of why it has not been done is that a Bahamian Judge has to order it. I know that Birkhead has claimed Paternity of the child and filed for custody over there.
I think the Birkhead party is expecting that the Bahamian Judge will order the DNA tests when they go back to court in mid March. Opri clearly said that she is expecting that DNA test will be done within the next 30 days.
I made some new Bahamian Law discoveries last night, what I found is posted on 2/28/07 from about 8pm on.

Shouldn't we email the attorneys for Larry and Virgie and ask them to keep us apprised of their plans for future actions?

Last night the guy from TMZ said that Stern is trying to make a trade with Thompson. Stern wants to give Thompson the boat and the other house that Anna bought (which is gutted right now) in exchange for the Horizon home.
(I have heard it from other talking heads on TV...) Stern wants to turn the Horizon home into a mini Graceland. There is no doubt in my mind that if Stern ended up with the Horizon home that he would dig up both Anna & Daniel and bury them on the Horizon property. I am sure that the Bahamian government would go along with it because it would be great little tourism spot. (of course many of us here of FR would never go and see it even if we were in the Bahamas)

I'm concerned that this will be another Aruba "they do it their own way" fiasco.
I'm counting on Larry's and Virgie's lawyers being a lot smarter than Howard.

It all depends on how it would work out and who actually wins in the Bahamas.
Say Virgie wins - she will return to Texas to raise the baby. That means Birkhead would have to fight her in Texas.
Say Birkhead wins - then he will return to CA or KY - Virgie would have to fight him what ever state he ended up residing in.
Who do you think makes more money a year between them?
I'd say Birkhead does - but I think Virgie is getting free representation by O'Quinn. But I doubt O'Quinn is licensed in CA or KY. If Virgie wins custody then Birkhead would have to fight her in Texas and I am sure that O'Quinn would still represent her for free if the custody case was in Texas.
I think I missed ET last night, but don't quote me. Think I was either fixing dinner or napping, lol. If I posted about it, then I guess I did see it.
Maybe it was the re-run I didn't see. Or Extra. Or Inside Edition. I *know* I didn't see Access Hollywood, because I've only caught it once during all this. It was on a weekend and not a regular time, and I have never run across it again.

Jean at CTV just saw Vergie....Vergie very upset. She wants to exhume Daniel and Anna. That's why she wants custody. In the best interest of DL, she can have the bodies moved!
My friend saw Anna at the Grand Ole Opry and met her backstage..she is in production. Stoned out of her mind. Then she got onstage and danced in her stiletto heels with the cloggers.
Reporting Vergie very upset. Crying. Says she will not give up. Jean says Vergie is convinced that HKS had influence over ANS due to drugs.
Jean thinks it's sad that Vergie and Goat are not able to get along....oh please!!
I think I saw a tape or snippet of a tape of that incident. Of course, all her enablers deny she took drugs. She was just a zany character. How they can keep a straight face when they spew that garbage is amazing.
