Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Yeah it'll be a big production on HKS's part no doubt. The speech writers are working on it as we speak.
I've only read about and seen video clips of ANS, and I wouldn't allow my child there unsupervised.
LOL! Coffin Cam! Trademarked here by stlnative first.
She was a selfish "b****" who "fed you" if you loved her. Howard was nothing more than her dog.....he was just real good at fetching bones marked "money" for her. He was his own victim!! Dumb!!!
What legal action is up next? Anybody have a timeline?
Your busting me up tonite stl!
Frankly, I think it is scary to think anyone would entrust their child's care and safety to ANS.
Inside Edition reporting that Virgie never got to even hold Dannielynn during the 20 minute visit last night.
I agree Sac...
but I believe both were Sycophant's and Enabler's... they fed off of each other. This why they put up with each other for so long.
What? Has Virgie said what their excuse was for not allowing her to hold the baby? That's terrible. That's mean and evil. That's HKS.
OT - but since you mentioned this, it sounds a lot like something my boss has. Think hotel which is very much like gyms etc.
Started like a big lump behind her ear and swollen glands 4 weeks ago, now two lumps. Finally started oozing stuff. She's been on antibiotics for all this time, the lab work should be back tomorrow.
She finally went to a local Dr three days ago. Mind you two of her children who live in another city and are young Dr's saw this first and told her it would go away on it's own with the antibiotics.
We thought it may have been a spider bite to begin with, still not sure.
Florida judge evades Anna Nicole paternity fight
MIAMI (Reuters) - A Florida judge on Wednesday rejected a bid by a former boyfriend of late Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith to have a Florida court decide a paternity fight over Smith's 5-month-old baby daughter, Dannielynn.
Larry Birkhead, a former boyfriend of the topless dancer and billionaire's widow, says he is the father of the child while Smith's longtime companion, Howard K. Stern, is listed as such on the birth certificate.
Broward County Judge Lawrence Korda rejected jurisdiction and tossed the case back to California, where Birkhead first filed a paternity action.
"They have jurisdiction for a number of reasons, apparently the act of conception being what the petition requires in terms of jurisdiction for California," Korda said. He did grant Birkhead the right to get a DNA sample from Smith.
Smith died suddenly at age 39 on February 8 at a Florida casino hotel. Her decomposing body remains at a medical examiner's office in Dania Beach, Florida.
Her estate could ultimately be worth millions if it wins a legal battle over the estate of her late husband, billionaire oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall.
Earlier on Wednesday, a Florida appeals court heard arguments from attorneys for Smith's estranged mother, Virgie Arthur, and Stern in the protracted legal dispute over custody of her body and whether it should be buried in the Bahamas or her native Texas.
The Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach has not yet ruled on Arthur's request that it overturn a lower court ruling that gave custody of Smith's body to a court-appointed guardian for Dannielynn.
The guardian is arranging a funeral in the Bahamas, with Friday morning tentatively penciled in as the likely time, while Arthur wants to bury her daughter in Texas.

It has always been an issue for the Bahamas. I remember Stern's attorneys telling the Birkhead team that they needed to file in the Bahamas, so it's finally going to happen there. Any idea when the initial court date is?
Oh how I wish I was Bahamian funeral home fly on the wall come Friday! - I hate flies but Friday would be a good day to be a Bahamian fly for a day!
My friend started out with his regular doctor who was informed enough about MERSA to do the tests and sent him right off to the nearest infectious disease control center. They treated him there with i believe two super antibiotics. Luckily he made it. But even so they said that it could cause liver damage later and other things.
Tell your friend to educate her doc about MERSA and see if that's what it is. Time is of the essence with this thing.
I know that if I had a loved one buried in the cemetery where Goat put Daniel and now is going to put Anna, I'd have a legal action in the works. No way that I'd allow my loved ones grave be trampled on to appease Goat. He's turned a nice, quiet place into a tourist mecca. I was so disgusted to see the tourists flock to Daniels grave, walking all over the less "popular" souls resting places.
But, like ANS, nobody seems able to say no to Goat, either. If he decides to turn the cemetery into a theme park, I imagine all the other graves can be moved.
Think you are mostly right Liz. We want the good guys to win one and in this case the clear "good guy" is little DL

Is the State of Florida still providing the private jet to accomodate Goat? And will the state pay to transport Annas' body?
