Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Do you ever stop to wonder why she was there to begin with? Why Ford left his child in such surroundings?
We have a friend in Northern California who was a "regular" smoker of pot, never saw her act like ANS, though.
Remember the bodies surfacing in the Scott Peterson case. He was as free as can be until that time.
There is a whole lot of different pneumonias. Will be interesting to see what kind killed her.
The creep probably kept the baby awake for a long time so that she'd be sleeping when Virgie came and then he could sanctimoniously say "How dare she ask me to wake up the baby?".
Seriously, i don't put this past him.

The baby is all Virgie has left of her daughter. And she knows the environment the baby is living in. Drugs everywhere. Baby tranquilizers. I'm with you sod, that her intentions are for the baby's health and safety.
I just heard Susan Folin (sp?) on MSNBC said that yes it can be appealed to the Florida Court of Appeals.
I wonder if they plan to or if ANS is already on her way to the Bahamas?
The doctor I work for's wife had an MRSA infection; you're right, they are very serious and very few drugs to treat because we have become so resistant to antibiotics in our societies.
I cannot imagine Virgie and Larry allowing the Insider to film this funeral.
I'd take it a step further than he "enabled Anna to die young".
At any rate, we know this man gave Anna drugs when she was pregnant for crying out loud. He does NOT give a damn about that poor baby.
Doesn't pass the smell test with me, either.
BUT.....it's a Public Cemetery with public access and we have "Freedom of the Press".

I have commented before - How in heaven has Virgie held up in this chaos? Losing a grandson, losing a daughter, not being allowed to see or speak with either one or hold her new granddaughter - having to deal with financial burdens, attorneys, the media -having her most private family matters exposed on TV?
She must be surviving on her own strength of character.
The Natalie Wood scenario.........they never figured out what happened to her. They "surmised" that she was drunk and fell overboard.
I only hope they expedite the DNA in this case for God's sake. That should have been the FIRST thing they did to determine WHO the babies guardian should be. Not a stranger GAL. It may be abundantly clear to Larry now that the court is not his friend. His best bet may be to pay off HK$.
Also, if you look at pics of the baby in that pink and white striped top, look at the eyebrows.........they match Larry exactly.
Perper says another 9 - 10 days before they will release cause of death.. was asked about Lupus, pneumonia, drugs and said more tests are needed.
Actually my friend who had MERSA found out that 3 other people they he later got MERSA. I researched it a bit when my friend had it and learned that even if you make it (and the chances for death are pretty high), it can reoccur later in your life. Because even if it seems to be gone, there could be a teeny bit of it left which can grow over time and become a problem again.
In that one and one other really cute one, she looks like the Gerber baby!
After watching John O'Quinn yesterday and then reading the excerpt info on ANS's old diaries, I am less and less enamored of Virgie... Larry -- yes, Virgie ????
