Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
You bet he is! After all he has been living off of ANS for a long time and might have to contemplate getting a "real job" again. / sarcasm
Criminals sometimes get plea bargains IF the DA wants to make one. Settlements are basically agreements made between two opposing parties in CIVIL cases. There is a world of difference between the two legally speaking.

Yes, legally, the terms are different. But, in effect, it is the same thing. We "settled" cases in criminal court all the time.

Not just friends-three medical " professionals "- a nurse of some type, an EMT and an MD were in the room and decided that Mo's grandmother's ice bath therapy was the best route for someone with a fever of 105.

If the pneumonia story is true -she should have been hospitalized ASAP and might still be alive today.

ANS obviously needed a GAL during the last months of her life-she was barely functional due to grief, drugs, post partum depression ? and whatever other preexisting physical conditions she had.

Our DA is excellent at deals. It sets aside long trials and endless appeals. But the sexual predator cases......He makes sure the jury puts them away for a long, long time. He was also responsible for extending the scope of sex offenders for all to see.

I don't believe the 105 degree fever story. If ANS had fever that high, I doubt she was able to protest going to the hosp.
