Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Someone posted that Birkhead said under oath something about Thompson in Kentucky. I don't remember what he said under oath but it does seem to me that he mentioned KY.

I would think that a near certainty. He had access to everything else, whether by fraud or her acquiescence. He wrote checks on her account -- why would he not have access to her computer, as well? And if the evidence presented in court is any indication, the "from" address of an email can be used as verification of the sender, regardless of the fact that the address can be forged (a topic Howard was most familiar with).
And if you believe Jackie Hatten's story, this would not be the first time Howard had done that. Jackie's brother is in jail for the very same thing, presumably.
Courtv calling the house a beautiful beachfront mansion. I would love to know what other houses in the neighborhood sold for in the past 5 years.
Lawyer for Thompson saying his client didn't give 900k gifts but ANS was used to getting 900K gift.
Something about his client waiting until Marshall litigation over to get money.

I'll bet many of those emails were from HKS. I remember the tape that Larry made of his phone call with ANS at Xmas. She sure didn't sound angry with him one bit. She was friendly and sweet with him, albeit very drugged.
Well, someone just posted that ABC is saying they did meet in South Carolina but through Birkheads. So I don't know if it was KY or SC. Someone with a better recall of the testimony will have to address that.
If the deal was that Ben was willing to wait until the Marshall litigation was over for his money (as per lawyer)..that would seem to confuse things even further.
And why would he be willing to wait until the Marshall litigation was over which could take years?
Vinnie Napolitan on Court TV this morning was very suspicious of Stern's possible involvement in the drug deaths of Anna and Daniel.

Consider the possibility that HKS pretented to be controlled by Anna. She may have been able to control those others, but something tells me she didn't have that same power over HKS. Plus it seems that Annas drug use escalated over the years. So any power of persuasion she had over him if any would probably have been reduced significantly. One way would be that she was so drugged that he could get her to sign things, or believe things, or agree to buy/sell things without knowing what the heck shse was doing. But HKS may have had that skill at making her think everything he was pulling was HER idea.
What did I miss? Now Thompson has agreed that he gifted the house to ANS? Horizons or the new one?
The judge asked Howard on the stand if he knew the password to Annas computer and he said yes.
Is that Judge Napolitano you're referring to? If so, ooooooh.

You're right. He mentioned the name of the firm he used to belong to. It was Stern, something, and something. Now independent with only one client.
So why didn't Howard marry her for real the first time?? Why wasn't a dress in the process for the REAL wedding. Hell, she had one made for Marshall's funeral. I'll bet that Howard has already made a deal with the Hardrock for her dresses, etc....
Aside from the fact that an addict will do anything for a fix, her lack of education (some who knew her said she couldn't read very well) made her completely dependent on others to give her a synopsis before she signed something, never even reading it herself. How easy would it have been for Howard to manufacture any legal document he wanted, slip in front of her, gloss over the true nature, and get her true and authentic signature on it? Probably happened a lot. Such a document might be the impetus for the "Cracker" company receiving $$$ from ET appearances or the boat or whatever else they have in their asset column.
