Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
True but the "cure" for that isn't a new prescription drug; the "cure" is to get off the other drugs which is what any doctor should know and recommend rather than adding to the cocktail. I don't see why more of her doctors haven't been looked into.
I believe ANS was suppose to go with him to the ultrasound to find the sex of the baby and he testified that she went without him...he asked why she went without him. I believe the response was that she had to go. It is quite possible that she miscarried at some point in that pregnancy. However, I still haven't figured out the reason why she would need to go to that lengths to get another baby....unless there was some trust already in place for the baby.
She was a huge liar. I don't think she would have made a very good mother for that baby. Of all the misfits, LB appears to be the best suited....but appearances can be deceiving.

The discussion on a 'SUBSTITUTE BABY" surfaced - because it was feared that obtaining DNA from Dannielyn might be obtained from a "substitute infant" - not related to LB.
Subsequently, a few FReepers have become quite angry - not previously seen on this thread- perhaps, as a result of misunderstandings.
We have veered off into whether ANS was actually pregnant, miscarried, picked a baby from a catalogue - ad infinitum.
Could we not speculate on the totally absurd and just speculate on the semi-absurd - where we are strongest?
May God bless and care for all wee ones who are in no better, nay, worse circumstances than sweet little DL.
From what I've heard that doesn't exactly comport with Bahamian law and precedent.

Seems lovable Larry Birkhead is not so loved by parties other than Blowjob-Bonnie Stern and The Howard K. Stern Foundation.

Birkhead had not been lying and he responded by filing a libel suit against both the actress and the non-principled sell-out Entertainment Tonight. Each, knowing they were in the wrong, settled with Birkhead out of court. This may explain why $intertainment Tonight has sickeningly celebrated HKS and ignored Birkhead. Birkhead kicked their ass once before for being unethical. They weren’t going to tangle with him again! GO LARRY!

I agree. Disposition of the remains of a US citizen by a third party - in place of a known blood relative is OUTRAGEOUS.
The decision by the GAL, pretending to act in the interest of a minor child is HOGWASH. The guardianship of the child has not been established - and if it favors another US citizen - why let the Mother and 1/2 brother remain on foreign soil? Makes no sense.
I understand the worries about a substitute DNA baby. That is not what I am talking about. I think ANS was a money grubbing liar and I would not put it past her to buy a baby to use to get money from some rich man (like G. Ben Thompson or Ford Shelley) so she could continue living in the style she was accustomed to without actually having to get a job like you and me.
OTOH the baby may have been one ANS gave birth to. I don't know but either way I don't need anyone to tell me what IS realistic discussion and what is not or to tell me what I can or cannot say. Thank you.
Birkhead said he went to at least one ultrasound on the stand last week, said that the pregnancy was only a couple of weeks off from being able to have the 4-D ultrasound when they did the one in the hospital.
This was only a six pound baby and by our calculations the c-section was done at least a couple of weeks early, as they like to do in Hollywood.
