Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Huge!
But I would not GIVE Stern anything - well, maybe a long prison term.
If this is true, Larry is in the drivers seat...NO DEAL!
sw
Absolutely!
If Larry and Howard join hands and walk into the sunset - I will put my tinfoil hat on and rethink the whole bizarro story........
Would that not somehow be illegal.
That does not sound like acceptable procedure.
Krista Barth needs her assets kicked anyway.
No it is not illegal - but the DNA testing still needs done under a official controlled environment so that it would stand up in a court.
FOX News just showed some footage of Larry, Larry's sister and Opri in the Bahamas as they arrived there over the weekend.
You're not the only one who doesn't understand the system. Especially since we're dealing with another country and this is not the typical criminal trial we would watch on CourtTV.
We all take comments from others and try to get more info and form ideas about what really went down. We have so many theories. Keep putting your thoughts out there. Sometimes even something so seemingly unimportant as earlobes becomes important. ;-)
So what would the purpose serve if you could not present it in a court of law other than for ones own knowledge.
Would the test results have turned around so quickly, as in express service?
Not sure ... if HK$ has learned from DNA testing on the styrofoam cup that Larry is the father now is HK$ theoretically holding Dannielynn for ransom?
"All Stern is doing now is plea bargaining off the table with the people who have him by the gonads."

I'm hoping you're right - Larry wants his daughter - Howie wants the Marshall money.
Have said it before - Stern is a wannabe "DEADBEAT DAD"
"The comments to the story are the best part!"
I stayed up so late last night reading those comments. They are priceless!
He is also saying that HKS is probably not in the Bahamas legally, and that we may end up in a situation where HKS has to return to the US, and Dannielynn stays in the Bahamas.

Virgie got good advice with that injunction. She can go to the Bahamas and stay in Thompson's house with Dannielyn, or request custody as proven next-of-kin (?)
This is a page turner.
If this is a Stern ploy to paint Birkhead as really being interested in the money and not just the baby it'll backfire. Sterns already the one who looks like the one who's after the money and this would make him look even more suspicious. Why would Stern give up the baby but want to maintain control her estate? Did he ever think that the real father, Birkhead, might want to hire a different lawyer?
The upper lip and the way her mouth turns down is like LB's too.
After a while, wouldn't that be considered abandonment? :)
