Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I also remember (I'm pretty sure) Anna saying that he was "hot"....like with a fever. But he seems to have been fine all through his flight and when he got to the hospital. It was a "sudden" thing....just like her death.
Do you live in AZ or is that just your nickname for some other reason? I only ask because I'm wondering if we know each other. A friend in common named Bruce, maybe?
That's what I have been thinking..why didn't Birkhead just get himself a Bahamian attorney?
California's grip on the case is tenuous: although the child was conceived there she was not born there.
Establishing long arm jurisdiction with service of process in a foreign country is tricky, and now there is the added complication of a legal father on the birth certificate!
What a tangled web!
He's now Dennis Krunched!!
Bingo. Momma per her antics with the Immigration officials had it all covered. I'm not to happy with the paternity suit. It just isn't happening. The father has every right to state who he is. Why can't they just do it, and be done with it. Howard Stern My Ass. Sorry, not father material. Fag material, but not child, nor husband. The guy is a joke, and trying to live off of what ever remains of his meal ticket. AKA, ANS.
UGH! I can't *stand* that guy. *Carry on*
I didn't see the re-run, but I tried to watch her actions when it was happening. She was a nervous wreck. She is so irritating. And I'll bet she's like that in her personal life, too.
I think the CA gals will be laughing at her antics for a long time to come. I hope they get to laugh more if they win this paternity thing. (praying)
I have two bulging discs in my neck (C-4/C-5) and do take muscle relaxants for it, have for over ten years... they are non-addictive (meaning I don't have withdrawals if I don't take them, though I can have spasms if I don't take them and they are not considered a class-3 drug like ANS was taking)they have been a real lifesaver for me. I can empathize with your pain.
I read the timeline, he basically had flown in the night before.... I think I read on the red-eye.
Hit too close to home, ehhh
one of the many things that makes you go ummmmmmm
I don't think any of their cells had 9-1-1 that would tell their location.
However, I don't think that's the reason, just what they might say. I keep thinking of Condit and his pact with that woman friend of his to come in and clean up whatever mess was made if he were found dead with some woman - remember that?
I think they had the same sort of thing about ANS - don't call 9-1-1 or a hospital under any circumstances.
Interesting.
It was most noticeable that he had rehearsed that answer many times so he wouldn't perjure himself.
You know Gloria.. wonder if she's ever had a case like this?
Yeah, that 5-months-off-methadone statement shocked me, too. Obviously if it shows up in the tox screen, we'll know for sure he was lying ... or ...
He does, doesn't he?
