Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
There was a hydromorphine-type wrapper found in the room and that is where Texas was going with questioning yesterday when the judge shut him down.

I don't have cable, so I don't catch lots of detail. But you are the second person on the thread I have read mention this. What I would like to have clarified is how could Birkhead have possibly known Howard spiked her IV in the hospital? Was he actually there and seen it done? Was the IV tested and they found the drugs in it?
I didn't catch that. But it might've been one of his name slips. He was constantly calling people by the wrong name and maybe that's why he started calling them "Texas" "Houston" "California"...

What I heard Birkhead say is that HKS had a duffle bag with drugs in it and would give her the drugs which were counteracting the drugs the docs were giving her to try and detox her.

I get a kick out of movies that show a person who is being murdered made to seem like an accidental drowning in a bath tub. It would be almost impossible to accidently drown in a tub unless you landed in it face down. I am barely 5 ft and when I lay in a tub my head sits up high enough that if I fell asleep the over flow in the tub would drain the water out before it ever reached my mouth and nose.

Barth is in FL and was saying she got it 2/12? I had 2/16 in my notes. Whatever - yeah, Stern had asked someone in CA for a copy of ANS's will before they went to FL.
If Barth is lying about it, then it's obvious why. Consciousness of some kind of guilt. I wouldn't have thought anything of it, seeing as how ANS kept threatening suicide - a will would've been a good thing to have around.
Two days before a trip to FL to get a boat, knowing that the maker of the will would die on that trip under suspicious circumstances - yeah, that *should* raise some eyebrows.

Latest on the Death of Anna Nicole Smith
An autopsy performed on Anna Nicole Smith revealed no illegal drugs in her system.
Police combing Anna Nicole Smith's hotel suite in Florida took away eight bags of evidence, reportedly including large and illegal amounts of drugs, including valium, antibiotics, and over the counter cold and flu medicines.
Anna Nicole's last public appearance was watching a boxing match with her companion Howard K. Stern at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida where she died.
And more details are emerging about Anna Nicole's final days. She arrived in Florida Monday night, at 8pm. She was spotted in the hotel's casino Tuesday and was reportedly slurring her words and appeared groggy. Wednesday, running a fever and suffering flu-like symptoms, she's said to have slipped in the bathroom of the hotel and struck her head. It's not known if this minor injury played any role in her death.
The luxurious hotel was her favorite in Florida. She usually stayed in the spacious two-bedroom Apollo suite. The hotel was featured in one of her Trimspa commercials.
In a photograph taken Tuesday night with Stern, Smith was wearing a shiny double-breasted belted trench coat, and looks tired and ill. A ring could be seen on her finger.
Anna Nicole and Stern had been reportedly shopping for a 10-carat ring and planning a February 23d wedding.
John James, producer of Anna Nicole's final movie, spoke to her days before her death. "I asked her how she was doing and she said not well. She said she couldnt leave the room and sounded depressed," he said.
Police the following timeline for the Thursday tragic events:
At 1:38pm Anna collapsed. Her private nurse was in the suite and tried to revive her. Paramedics were called and administered the drug Narcon, which is used as an antidote for suspected drug overdoses. There's a report she was found on her bed and had choked on her own vomit.
At 2:10 pm Anna Nicole was transported to the hospital where she was pounced dead at 2:49.
Now attention is focused ion the future of Anna Nicole's daughter, who is at the center of a paternity battle between two men who claim to be the father -- Stern and photographer Larry Birkhead. Lawyer Debra Opri represents Birkhead.
"Larry is devastated," she told INSIDE EDITION. "He knew this was coming. He knew this is going to happen like this."

Yes, and Texas was on TV last night and said he got the whole list of drugs from a housekeeper and was upset he couldn't go further into the line of questioning.
If he said these things my question is how could he possibly know this unless he was there in the hospital seeing it being done. Was he able to clarify how he knew this?
