Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
His talent is being a leech and probably a smooth talker. I've seen his kind!
I agree with you 100%. It belongs to HIS blood family, and hopefully, the courts will end this circus and give it back to them.
Not that Florida has any jurisdiction over the matter (I had a brief discussion w/xs earlier today) but Florida law is very similar. There is a strong presumption that attaches to a man signing a birth certificate and another putative father may not even have standing to challenge it!
Fascinating stuff. It would appear that the Bahamas would control, as the child has only lived there during her life. California would have an interest only if the allegation is that the child was conceived there (which is the logical assumption).

Yeah, i guess you're right if put flat out like that it would be blackmail. Altho it could've been hinted to in such a way that no one but HKS would get the point. Also, what could HKS do if she WAS blackmailing him???

I'm afraid it's becoming obvious from some of the interviews that she really was already dead long before 9-1-1 was called, which means she died in Indian Country. It's almost No Man's Land - but we have the Feds for the ultimate jurisdiction.

I remember hearing someone from the Marshall family say that they thought that ANS "deserved" 1/2 of what Marshall accumulated during the duration of their marriage. That seemed fair. I think that's what they offered her as well. She wanted more.... and the rest is history.

To what "jig" are you referring? This guy has many jigs that he's involved in...and the big ones might not be up. So much came out in this hearing that looked real bad for HKS wrt the deaths of both ANS and Daniel. We just have to see what the Seminole authorities are capable of or are willing to do.
JMO but I doubt any woman has slept with him.
So who releases cause of death? Seminoles or Perper?
Oh, yeah, the disinherited son thought so - then he would have a partner to challenge with.
I think mostly the paternity issue because he can't run from the DNA test forever unless the Bahamian law is completely in favor of the birth certificate daddy.
