Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I didn't watch but one episode because you are right, it was a trainwreck and very sad... I have a hard time watching anyone drunk or on drugs and she was obviously on something.
I agree. The fact that she'd already had a reputation as a drug user makes "getting away with it" a slam-dunk.
OK Nancy Grace asks where is Stern, and one of her reporters says that Howard had been at the hospital earlier, grieving.
I still want to know where Stern disappeared off to. Did he go get on that boat and take off to the Bahama's.
I believe he opened a law office there.
I hope she's not a friend of Howard K. Stern's.
Sounds like Nancy is lobbying for the mother (who screwed up ANS) to get the baby.

Anna, Lawyer Hold Commitment Ceremony
Anna Nicole Smith and her longtime lawyer and confidant, Howard K. Stern, held a commitment ceremony in the Bahamas Thursday, her attorney, Michael Scott, has confirmed.
"It was low-key, on a boat," a source close to the couple tells PEOPLE. "It was a simple ceremony, exchanging vows."
According to a press release issued by TrimSpa, the diet-product company for which Smith is spokesperson, the couple, accompanied by a few friends and family and Smith's newborn daughter Dannielynn Hope, "made a commitment before God to be there for one another, to be each other's strength during this difficult time.
"Although the ceremony was officiated, it was not a wedding and no marriage certificate was issued."

Anna Nicole: Getting people in trouble... As if Anna Nicole Smith's life weren't complicated enough, now she's making a political impact. Bahamian Immigration Minister Shane Gibson is under intense pressure to resign for fast-tracking Smith's residency permit and facing ridicule for allowing himself to be photographed at Smith and Howard K. Stern's commitment ceremony.
It's kind of scary that so much of celebrity today is not talent, but the vicarious thrill of watching a person make a train wreck of their life.
Is she? I know it was said she and ANS are estranged. I didn't realize that she was loopy.
