Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I'm afraid this judge wants to be on a bench with lawyers like these two . . . |
I love Matlock.
It's time to cut the audition and 'hurry up'.
Anyone who has ever lost a child understands wanting to jump into the grave with them. I have been watching this with interest and 5 months after losing my child was about the low point in my life. I could easily have offed myself and if I had been in the habit of taking drugs, it would have happened. Anything this woman said or did after Daniels death should not be thought of as something a person who was not under that kind of cloud would do.
She could have taken her own life, folks.
He tells HKS to give him 2 hours notice to when he needs to leave. Barth stands up and requests that HKS be put on before Virgie.
Judge denies request.
Virgie up.
good lord...time is of the essence and he asked about the background history of O'Quinn. Now he says everything has been in open court. Not really. They had at least one closed door session.
Great thought, but wouldn't Virgie have the right to make the burial decision if she obtains custody of the body?
Oh my goodness, I can't believe how long this has taken to get going.
Shoot. I forgot to add that when the judge said he needed 2 hour notice from HKS, he said "You are not a hostage here"
Thanks for the "other side". It helped.

I'm glad to see that the judge is building up Virgie's reputation.
I suppose he could stipulate, "pending the receipt of the death certificate" so the body doesn't have to be exhumed for some reason.
I think he really likes her.
There was a point where ANS stayed in bed for six months in the 90's. So yes, her grief could have caused to her to things other people wouldn't understand...and it is excerbated by the drugs.
My gosh, listen to all the leading questions by the Judge when he is talking to Virgie.
I have one of those weird questions. If you are not a legal resident, do you even have the right to be buried in the Bahamas??
The judge respects Virgie's career. I believe showing that tape yesterday of Anna trashing her mother ticked off the judge.
So Howard would get HIS way if his only motive was to see Anna buried next to Daniel..and Virgie could bury her daughter without a media circus and ET's money.

"Remember, Daniel's death is still at an inquest stage. Is that correct??"
I think so. Probably ANS would have been asked to provide testimony at the inquest.
Not sure if he's trying to establish her credibility or if he's trying to set her up.
Good.
And the judge has a young daughter. He can relate.
