As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Repent, sinners, for the end of the world is at hand.
Yes, according to a UN report about to be published, the human race has a total of ten years to get its act together to save the planet, or global warming will doom us all.
Billions, yes, billions--like half the planet (three billions of souls) will go "waterless". Yeah, right. And the other half will see the Sun rise in the West. Wouldn't one think that over the oh so many years that if some area went "waterless" (even the Sonoran Desert--dryest place in North America--isn't "waterless", though an average rainfall of 0.01"/year gets it pretty close), wouldn't the folks, well, move?
But, heck, don't let logic get in the way of a good calamity. After all, diplomonkeys need a good crisis--it justifies their existence.
And nothing on the planet needs more justification for its existance than the United Nations--otherwise abbreviated, quite correctly, as UN. The UNsolvers, those who simply cannot fix anything. Name one item of note the UN has actually fixed (before one says "Korea"--remember that peninsula is still in a legal state of war, a state that has continued for over 55 years).
The report from the UN will indicate coastal flooding over the next 100 years will hit 7 million homes. Large number, but that's worldwide, over the next 100 years. Heck, Fairfax county would probably build 7 million new homes next week.
But wait, they will fix the climate. The UN eko-wacko agency is pressuring the new Secretary-General to call an "emergency climate summit." The screams are coupled with dire statements such as "climate change is one of the most important issues that the international community must address before 2012." Funny how these folks always seem to pick a year coinciding with a United States Presidential election.
Well, maybe not so funny. Consider the United States House of Representatives. It now has a planetary hot air committee--to go along, one would suppose, with their legislative hot air committees. Problem is, they actually have the ability to write laws--and laws are, essentially, abridgements of a person's freedom (though some we do accept for the benefit of society--murder, robbery, etc., so don't go there with counter-arguments).
Then there's the spectre of a DemoncRAT Presidency. Seems the UN is already playing to that, giving the leftists a campaign platform. Talk about manipulating the internal affairs of America.
It is time to abbrogate the San Francisco Agreement. Time to get away from those nutcases and protect what Americans have worked hard to produce. Let the rest of the world starve to death freezing in the dark.
But we also need to ensure the White House is on board--that requires our work for November 2008. The battle lines are being drawn.
Save the planet--get the United States out of the UNnecessary organization.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Those gas logs, a good investment, right?
Heard from Mozartlover lately or am I missing something.
Too bad the milk man doesn't make house deliveries anymore. When my kids were little, they drank a gallon of milk every day, another gallon of orange juice, and RC Colas as extra liquids. LOL
How is your daughter Tracy doing?
LOL! (She's just talking...!)
Mozie, are you all right?
Good Morning All. It's cool in Central Texas today. Waiting for Roomey to make some coffee so my brain will come alive.
Toby, I'm thinking of planting normal sized tomatoes in my hanging pots plus the cherry and grape size. I got some seed catalogs and oh, all the great looking tomatoes. One is called a Pineapple something, it's an heirloom, and I'm thinking of trying to grow some. However, I've been told heirlooms are suseptable to things, but they taste great. Heck, I'll try. I also want to try growing potatoes in straw and of course the tire thing. Roomey has his order in for yellow squash and kentucky wonders. I'll use the back fence to let them crawl on.
Good Morning. I haven't read the end of yesterday's thread or the beginning of today's thread, but I wanted to put a couple of links in here for you. This is just a glimpse of what Iowa Republicans must endure:
State House Democrats are really feeling their oats after winning the trifecta. They haven't controled the Governor's Office and both Chambers of the Legislature in 40 years. But they control it all. And this is what we get:
An Anti-Bullying Bill written to exclude 'regular' kids. It clearly is designed to put protection of gays in the Iowa Code. To he!! with fat kids, to he!! with smart kids, and to he!! with just plain different kids.
But by golly you'd better not make fun of a Gay kid.
Don't get me wrong. I don't think ANY kid should be bullied. And if Iowa's school administrators were doing their jobs we wouldn't need this bill.
Thank you for allow me to vent about this. My frustration level is Code Red this morning.
Here's a link to a story about it.

Generations ago, when little Johnny dipped little Susie's pigtails in an inkwell was that considered bullying.
And if the bullying is only verbal I guess the youngsters in Iowa don't have freedom of speech rights.
Cripes, in my day bullying meant..someone was going to catch heck when they got home.
I read an article about this young artist Nathan Gunn, ordered his debut CD, and am bowled over by his amazing, powerful baritone voice. And goodness, he's not bad to look at either!
Listening for the first time to the last selection "American Anthem", I thought wow...the second time, I began to weep, which is not a good thing to do when driving!
"When they ask of me, did you believe
America, America
America, America
America, America!"
That piece is also the title of his CD.
Prairie, he's an Illinois graduate & chooses to still live there, in the heartland, with his young family, despite an increasingly active career.
Did you all just hear Congressman Dana Rohrabacher...Republican California....
...talk about the two border agents...(one with 10 years service, the other with 5) ....and the facts of this case.
They are languishing in jail....and the Mexican drug smuggler goes free......they shot him in the buttocks when he turned towards them, after already assaulting one of them.....he had a great amount of drugs in his truck....he's a known smuggler....
..and of course, now he's sueing the US for 5 million, or some crazy amount.
Rohrabacher gave the number of the White House hotline....and asked citizens to please call the President and have him look over the facts of this case!!!!
The number is 202 456-1111
Should I start a thread for this????????
Wow! Nice voice.
Yes, he still has much to learn for his craft.. His ability to express himself musically varies from piece to piece, but he's still young. Maturity and experience will come. He has the voice and discipline to do it..
Thanks Guenevere. Hewitt has been talking about this alot too the past months.
What Biden said...from townhall's blog...
~~~~~~~~~~~
Biden on Obama:
I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,
A clean black man? The first black guy on the American political scene who can both shower regularly and speak properly? Is that really what Biden thinks?
If a Republican had said this, we'd have a national outpouring of grief over the residual ignorance and racial insensitivity in our country, and the guy would be in sensitivity training unti round about the time John Kerry is elected president. Biden, I'm sure, will pay no consequences for his boneheaded comment. Update: In other Dem leadership news, Schumer and Clinton both have imaginary friends, and they talk about them to the media.
Checking in...I have the plumber coming at 2 pm....seems I have a leak under the kitchen sink....I think the culprit is the garbage disposal. Looks like it torqued the pipes and has worked the connections loose.
When I listen to Rush on WABC, I won't hold my breath that that is reported at the top of the hour.
