AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 2197 and 2198) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | January 27, 2006 | All of Us

Posted on 01/27/2007 4:55:24 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!

Good morning!!

We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!

The UN says that Iran will likely begin deployment of thousands of underground centrifuges next month--a precursor step to developing a nuclear weapon.

Pelosi and Murtha were in Baghdad on a "fact finding" mission and to "convey to our troops the appreciation of the American people for what they're doing, to applaud their patriotism"--as if either of them know what these things are.

A North Carolina legislator says that if films want to use the state's "filmmaker incentive" fund, the scripts will have to be screened first to ensure there isn't anything that would be "objectionable" to the state's citizens. The legislator is a Republican, by the way ,and the notion comes on the heels of the dispicable scene in Hounddog.

Also out of North Carolina--a scientist there has developed a short-cut for the morning coffee and donuts. The caffienated donut.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

You may also want to take a look at this paper, Why There Is A Culture War, in which the theory of Antonio Gramsci is laid out to be the foundation for today's lefties: The personal IS political; Morality based on groups; and 'organic intellectual reeducation' through the infiltration of institutions that pass on societal values (i.e. tearing down and re-building educational institutions and even/especially churches)...

Also interesting in the paper is what the author calls the rise of 'Toquevillianism' to counter the Gramscian world-view, the 'Trinity of American Exceptionalism', to wit:

(1) dynamism (support for equality of individual opportunity, entrepreneurship, and economic progress);
(2) religiosity (emphasis on character development, mores, and voluntary cultural associations) that works to contain the excessive individual egoism that dynamism sometimes fosters; and
(3) patriotism (love of country, self-government, and support for constitutional limits).

...all three of which make America unique in its march to modernity, and totally at odds with the politically correct crowd... ;-))

Thank you VERY MUCH.

I'm embarking on a personal project. We can't win back the hearts and minds of those in the middle unless we understand 'how' they've been swayed into the Liberal Camp.

I am giving SERIOUS consideration to retiring from my current 'thing' and developing a grassroots effort to re-educate those in the middle. *Sort of a Conservative Gray Panther movement"

If you aren't gray yet, Lady Clariol can offer some help.

Wise words from a chile we will put them on the prayer list. We'll also pray they grow some brass.

You gals and guys are doing a great job over there and you're all on our ptayer lists. Sometimes military life is a bore and you've discivered, sometimes it gets exciting for awhile.

Jason surely 'warms' your heart, Toby, and your love for him warms ours.

Your Gray Panther idea sounds like good one, IG!

Hey! Pak Geri is bringing me one of these for the aviary attached to the dining room window. That ought to keep the dogs busy.

Does anyone have any suggestions for names? BTW, this is a Victoria Crowned Pigeon. They are about the size of a medium turkey.

Very good. Very good. Keep 'em coming. I really like Phyllis although the youngest wouldn't understand.

I forgot I was filling the kitchen sink with water (the tap is quite slow) and now it is all over the floor.

Fortunately, the floor is a bit porous and the water will, in about half an hour, porous right through. HA!

It's 4 of them - out of 7 total.

And it's MY school district. Even teachers are starting to put up the yard signs that say "Take Back Perry Schools". It's really starting to gather steam.

Just goes to demonstrate what you get when you blindly pull levers in an election for people that you don't know from Adam.

An added issue is the fact that we elect school board members here during the primary, when turnout is low. That needs to change.
