Krystle Joy Gehret‚ of the 200 block of North Main Street‚ was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to six to 23 months in the county prison after she pleaded guilty to a felony charge of statutory sexual assault in connection with a June 2005 incident.
Judge Paul W. Tressler‚ who accepted a plea agreement in the case‚ said Gehret also must complete two years’ probation after she’s paroled from jail. The judge ordered Gehret to have no contact with the teenage boy as a condition of her sentence.
Under state law‚ by pleading guilty to the statutory sexual assault charge‚ Gehret admitted that she engaged in sexual conduct with the boy while the boy was under 16 and she was four or more years older than the boy.
Those under 16 are considered to be incapable of forming the consent to have sex‚ under state law.
The boy told authorities t
hat in June 2005 he was with Gehret at the Branch Avenue Park in Telford where he and Gehret engaged in sexual activity‚ according to the criminal complaint. The park is bordered by West Broad Street‚ North Third Street and Branch Avenue.
“It should be noted that (the boy) advised that Gehret was well aware that he was only 14-years-old and that she engaged in sexual contact with him regardless‚” Telford Detective Randall S. Floyd alleged in the criminal complaint.
Gehret‚ according to court documents‚ later telephoned the boy‚ who resided in Warrington Township‚ Bucks County‚ and told him not to tell police about their sexual relationship. According to the boy‚ Gehret told him that if he revealed what happened that she could go to jail for 10 years‚ the criminal complaint alleged.
During the investigation‚ another boy verified for police that he saw Gehret and the victim in the park together on the night in question‚ the arrest affidavit indicated.

When we were 14, one of our favorite activities was what we called "shagging parkers". It involved waiting until the victims car windows were suitably fogged up and then four or five of us running over the car from hood to trunk or vice versa. The idea was to find some one stupid enough to actually chase us. Most weren't but once in a while we'd get the satisfaction of running some poor horny guy into the ground.
