I understand all that and won't hate the guy but....
He really damaged himself as far as I'm concerned, the scrum and then the presser.
He came across like a real jerk.
I understand his disappointment but calling the Pats and their coach: "classless" is well...classless. LOL

I know it sounds crazy to overhaul an offense that lead the league in scoring, but really with the talent we have and the teams we played, SD should have scored even more points this year. We need an offense that can crank up to a higher level in the playoffs. Some coaches have a scheme that can do that and some don't. IMO, that's why Marty and Dungy always lose in the playoffs--because they can't shift their offense up to another level. But New England is a really tough team and they'll probably win the whole thing again this year. I'd say the Pats, Colts, and Chargers are about tied as the three best teams in the league. Pats have the edge in experience and they have Brady who is the best QB under pressure.

I guess Brady...just for the last 2 drives of each half. He really was off except those two drives, I'm still amazed they pulled this game out.

Marty was trying to call timeout before the 2-pt conversion but the refs couldn't hear him.

It was beacause of all the crowd noise...HA, Ha Marty, The home field advantage worked against you on that one...

I can't wait to watch the replay of this game on NFL network later this week.

Overall I'd say Rivers is about equal to Brees and has more potential in the long run. Rivers is 6-5 while Brees is 6-0 and that helps him see over the lineman better. Brees made some bad decisions for us last year that could easily have cost us a couple of games. He seems to have stepped up his play this year for Norleans. I don't think Rivers is the problem; at the risk of redundancy I think SD's playbook doesn't fully utilize LT and Gates and that's a big reason why we lost today. Would you belive Walsh and Coryell as offensive consultants?

He should be severely punished....he should be traded to the Patriots. In return, the Patriots will provide 1,000 game tickets to Charger fans the next time S.D. visits N.E.
