Dream ending for next week's game - 0:05 on the clock, Pats up by 2, Vinatieri lined up for a 38 yard game winning field goal, and HE MISSES!!!!!!!!!!! The RCA Dome deflates, and we never see Manning in another commercial.

And LT showed himself to be the game's most overrated player

That's about the dumbest thing I've seen posted here in awhile. Are you an Aggie?

What did LT do? I'm taping 24, so I haven't been able to follow the game on tv since 24 started. Just been following here. Thanks.

No Patriot fan should ever be surprised. This is a team of winners.

The Schottenheimer curse strikes again--and he didn't even wear a headset to minimize his potential influence!

Congrats regardless. It'll be interesting to see what the "NFL is rigged" crowd does next week, when the Patriots and Colts play. Those two teams are supposedly the consistent beneficiaries of selective refereeing.

That was the biggest play...totally insane! Also Caldwell's long reception. SD LOST this game, they really should have won, but jut couldn't get it done. Go PATS!!!

This is a bigger upset than beating the Rams. This Chargers team has sick talent on both sides of the ball. I can't believe we pulled that off. Totally unbelievable.

We are going to Miami. This team is firing on all cylinders as far as winning games. They will find a way.

What did LT do?

After the game ended, he ran over to Hobbs and another Patriots' player and started getting into it with them. Other players had to pull LT out of the scrum, yelling at him "You're better than that! You're better than that!" LT was still yelling at them as they pulled him away. Complete thug.

That's about the dumbest thing I've seen posted here in awhile.

Everyone has ordained LT as the greatest player in NFL history. Yet he's 0-2 in playoff games. Sorry. He's great. But he's nowhere near as great as people make him out to be. Thus, he is overrated.

Yes, San Diego was the most formidable team the Pats have faced in years. I all but wrote this game off. I am absolutely stunned that we got past them.

Still, we should not let our guard down by looking past the Colts at home. Next week will not be a cinch either.

Congrats to the Pats, and looking forward to a great battle of the QB's in Indy..

I can guarantee that after what he saw today from San Diego,Manning has already booked his Gulfstream 5 for Key West for a week from tomorrow.

Come on, LT did everything he needed to do, and then some, to win that game. He had almost 200 yards total offense all by himself, probably well over 50 percent of San Diego's total offensive output. It was the rest of the team, bringing the 'hood mentality to the field, as well as the SD coaching staff, that blew this game. They let New England hang around, and Tom Brady took full advantage.

I was stunned the game was as close as it was. I thought the Patriots would rout the Chargers. I just thought Belichick would feast on a first-year starting QB. I thought the Rams were a far more formidable team. This Chargers team was overrated all year.

That or Gostkowski kicks a 54 yarder to win it.

Did you see the scrum at the end of the game? LT is not the perfect little angel he is made out to be apparently.
