Well I am snowed in today. My husband went to work first and I was to follow. He wanted to be there by 7am. He phoned me at 8:45 and said stay home, there are accidents everywhere and I just got to the office. So I stayed home except to run to the local mall in Westbank here and go tanning *grin*. Then I went to water my sister's house plants as she is in Mexico. I made it home fine but was very glad that I didn't need to go into Kelowna in all that traffic. This is our worst winter since 1968!! Even a couple of semi's were on their sides today. Sheesh

Nully, I can back you up on most points. I was certified to train at AOLA for the levels Clear through OTVII. I finished them all. Not many got invited to be instructors for those levels, but I was a level VI auditor, and the XO of the Seattle org.

As to the Get a Mac point, That PC will be my wife's genealogy machine. I have a new MacBook Pro, and there are 2 more Macs for my wife and daughter. I want to hear of someone who has swapped the two dual core Xeon chips in the Mac Pro for two quad core Xeon chips, then I'll stop waiting for it to come out from Apple. I'm setting up my Mac development system now.

Evenin' y'all. Just got home. I've been in advanced investigations training all week, then I had to go do an interview. I will be glad to get off tomorrow afternoon. The weekends seem to be getting shorter.

Oh really? Kewl!

Can I tap you as a resource on questions for which I don't have answers?

I was at AOLA in the mid '70s Solo Auditor's Course, OTI and OTII.

Did III in the independent field, so I'm not 'really' qualified to discuss the higher levels.

Is it the weekend already? It's so hard to tell in outer space...

Cardhu, some things are easy to do. The MacAfee anti-virus guru is my son-in-law and the other IT professional is my daughter. The kids love to make a few hundred dollars putting together computer systems. He does it all the time. I simply went over to the Apple store and wrote down the specifications of a low-end computer, and he cheerily went and bought all the parts, mostly on sale, at a PC parts store by the University. He brought over a beautiful, little black box and plugged it into the dual monitors, and it all came up. We have 10 Mbps optical fiber to the house, so we can suck down a full length feature movie in about five minutes. We have about a terabyte of storage on line here. I reciprocated the favor by buying her Beamer a new set of tires, new brakes, some front-end work and an alignment, so we all went out to lunch today to celebrate.

I lay low on most things, knowing the rage and fury that can be invoked by an earnest discussion, but I also know exactly how and why the thing works, what ought to be done different, what ought not to be done at all. I can back you up from the standpoint of one who taught the stuff and stood by it. I just looked over my level VI course materials before posting to you, to make sure I still remembered rightly.

It would even be fun to do a Scientology knock-off.

I told you this would happen if you didn't quit hanging out with Darks so much. But would you listen? Noooooo.....

Oh yeah! I don't call it the Church of Eternal Litigation for nothing! I wouldn't name you as a source unless you specifically asked me.

If you could do the knock-off without having an organization, parts of it might be worth doing.

You know what they say, sweets, no rest for the wicked. ;)
They really keep you hopping, don't they.
Good to know you'll have a short day tomorrow. Sounds like you've really earned your rest.
I've gotta be getting dinner going here, just wanted to pop in to say hello!

But sweets, you hang out with me, and you're not experiencing that.
Or, you aren't admitting such.

He He He! (Laughter)

I've even checked if the domain names I would need are available -- and they are. I know how to write software that would give you eternal lists for self-auditing, and you can scrap all the order to things that It requires. You just post an easy-to-answer survery on your web site, and from that generate a list of questions to ponder until you are tired of them. Pick another survey, generate another counterpoint list of questions, and it could become a great drive-time activity. They say old people stay mentally healthy much longer when they have something to engage their minds. The similarity between this and It would be too vague for anyone to care. Self-auditing has a few guidelines, but you don't really need a wheatstone bridge between your hands to figure out which way your brain is wandering. You remember the order to things that It suggests you follow for auditing up the levels, well, that is actually bogus. I could name 20 levels where It has the six, and you could do them in any order. (Makes me feel like the Brain in Pinky and the Brain to talk like this.)

Hey,

I bought the whole second season and I watch at least one episode every night.

Clears my head out, it does.
