LOL...ok. ;)
I hear you, Libby. You know what I need? Sink racks. Decent sink racks.. They are not easy to find and when you do they are a fortune. I finally broke down and ordered a stainless one for NH, but I can't find where I got it now. It wasn't as dear as the ones I've seen since.
I cook exta big meals to micro for later eating. Today I'm making Hungarian Beef Stroganoff for over egg noodles. I love online recipe hunts..lol.
I'd better get the pot on soon as it takes a few hours cooking time. Maybe I can get my nap in...;)
I don't ride with the devil...otherwise I'd be riding with you.
Not that big a dummy...lol.

I don't know what's wrong with the stupid thing. I've cleaned it, took it apart and put it back together and pretty much everything I know to do, and it still leaks and grease oozes out of the base. It isn't but a couple of years old and is a pretty good one, or so I thought.

Here is civilization Hong Kong style, these are the photos of the insides of the oldest Hong Kong public housing apartments. Apparently there are common bathroom areas. The photographer arranged for the residents to pose in their 10 x 10 foot rooms, and took 100 apartment photographs. by clicking on the photo, you move to the next one. Click on the top left thumbnail and click on the photos after that.
I'd guess the motor is bad. If it has a bad bearing the shaft will wobble a bit and that will jiggle the seal on the blade holder making it leak. Grease will also leak from the bearings. But that's just a guess...
That was sad, depressing, clutter, no window, very dreary!
I have visited Hong Kong twice, and both times it was filled with people very glad not to be under communist Chinese rule. Of course it is sad to think of those people living within the 100 ft apartments, but on the other hand, they were glad not to be living within the bamboo curtain.
They were putting up apartment building after apartment building, twenty story buildings with a thousand units per building, as close as possible across the land, to accommodate those fleeing from Mao. As close as they were, there was a minimum of violence and discontent.
Compare and contrast that with Newark N.J., where I saw comparable public housing buildings burned and gutted, abandoned and condemned, only ten years after construction. There, it did not work at all to give people a free hand up.
Sad but true the less we have the more content man is!
I felt bad for those who had clutter to pacify or to block out pain.
Some did quite well in maintaining some order.
