Good Morning, Resty.
LOL..you sound like me when I shopped on HSN and QVC. I'm an easy mark and had to get out of those two, Pronto. (I still buy plenty online tho.)
I checked out that Multi-Cooker, but I don't think I really need it. I just want a good pasta pot and they are hard enough to find. Hate counter stuff, it takes up all your room for cooking..lol. I have some nice crock pots that I use all the time..plenty of nice pots and fry pans...
Anyway...glad you can get and like the shows. Will be posting another one this morning. It will be a compilation of most of the Shark/Snake pics I made. Glad you got the music one too. I'm sure it's not your style of music but it's mine. ;) Actually I like most music and my cd collection shows that.
Your pasta meal sounded great. I made Chili last week and it was award winning,...really. I started with the rip-off of Wendys, but of course I never leave most recipes pure. I made a big pot and Al and I wiped it out to the last drop, lol.
Now I have to think of "what's for supper". I got lots of new recipes online yesterday, so I'll peruse them and see if any fit the bill for tonight.
Brownies...I'm craving brownies too. I want Hershey cocoa ones but I want to add white chocolate chunks to them,..YUMM. Of course I shouldn't be eating them at all, but...........
Yeah...like a Virus. ;)
Oh Yuck. I agree with Derly. I'll take Sam Elliot any time. ;)
Besides, the only ones you know that will have 7,000 years are your three ladies.
The kitchen gadgets I'm mainly interested in right now are those that will make my life easier...a slow cooker/crockpot (mine died a couple of years of ago), a steamer for cooking vegetables, a new blender (mine has unexplainable "issues") and I think I'd really like to be able to prepare and freeze entire meals to pop in the microwave, but that sounds like a lot of work on the front end. Still, in the long run, I think it would be a time saver.
Three ladies, there we have it, proof positive that you, dear gran, darling of Dionysus, inamorata of incubus, have misled sweet Derly -- do you see what your incautious words have done to the impressionable young lady.
The daft wench believes you, and now thinks she has to settle for, and consort with, the offal, the ne'er-do-wells, rejects of Priapus brother of Hymenaeus, in short, the undeserving drones of DD.
The poor lass, cruelly misled is now denying herself the dream of all wimmin, the only man worth killin' in this backwater of FR.
Who else would have the vigor, intelligence, not to mention the fortitude, to take, not one, but three ladies on a DWE to a secluded Rectory in the mountains. Opening their innocent eyes to the splendors or our natural world.
Truly gran, you ride with the Devil.

Ahh, But you are getting so good at it. I can see a few immediate places in that picture I would like to explore. I have seen sunsets that red, when big fires are burning out west and the setting sun shines through them. I have seen streams suddenly get that full, during spring run-off and after thunder storms. Usually the big canyons like that one are adjacent to mountains that have terrific snow packs, and when they melt, all the stream beds fill up. Things turn a velvety green across all that which would otherwise be sand, and it blooms into flowers -- once every ten years or so. You did good, Gran, that is a keeper. I can see you were influenced by the two temple pictures I sent you from Capitol Reef -- Temple of the moon and Temple of the sun. Someday I want to go back and find the third -- Temple of the stars, about a mile from those two.
LOL LOL...someone needs to kill you. Where is my sword?
Thank you, you sweet lamb. I think the only way anyone could capture your country would be to go there and get it in their blood.
I have traveled by the grand canyon, but never close enough to get much more than the heat in the air and the sheer depth, width and breadth of it. I guess your country is a place you have to live in and feel for awhile. I only got to stand near the edge of it and worry about Al and my three year old son who were too close to the edge for my comfort. ;)
Yes, I did use some of your photos, but even with those, they are still hard to translate in the proggie. Waaay too much room for terrain error.

Would you have a gander at this page? I googled "temple of the stars" and "capitol reef" and up came this page from someone who has done a fair quantity of photographing of the Capitol Reef. You can get a feel for all the features of the part through it.
Do the slide show on this one, Gran, You'll get a wonderful feel for the place.
Blue thingy issues?
Unsupported codec. *sigh*
I'll check that out Doggie. Thanks.......hmmm are they copywrited? lol

Find the one you need and go on google and find it. I've had to do that before.
Are all of the shows like that?
Ohhh...you have a Mac?
Is there anyway I could save it so you could see it?
