Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

I knew it was coming. Been needing to do something, since I couldn't see up close for a lot of hobby stuff(or to read).

That's great! This is a fun and generally non-confrontational place to hang out (unless you dislike plesiosaurs, in which case I suggest you avoid swimming in the Flying Castle's moats).

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting We're presently around Mars orbit (having recently visited Loch Lomond and a tropical locale or two), and NickNamedBob is getting ready to move us to other locales. (If I'm out of date on this info, it's because I've been thoroughlly buried deep in the castle's distillery.

Any "Poblachd Saorsa," (in English, "Free Republic") the best whisky straight from The Official Distillery of the Undead ThreadTM, anyone?

There is a curiously circular lake now known as Lake Fate occupying the former first site of the Undead Thread, AKA "Flying Castle."

Using the mineral wealth we found in the shattered substrata of what we suspected at the time was a meteoric impact crater, long eroded to invisibility, we built the castle and excavated a large amount of the crater material, lifting it with huge balloons and enormous jet engines.

That sufficed to get us to Loch Ness, from which base we made a beer run for some Guinness.

It having been discussed to take the now aptly named Flying Castle into outer space, some modifications were necessary.

In the Norwegian Sea we picked up a special "girdle" we call the Thrust Ring, and then we continued over the North Pole to the island of Kauai in Hawaii.

We stayed there for some time while refitting for our space launch. We needed nuclear fuel for the new engines, so we filtered Uranium from ocean water, (We were floating in the Pacific near the island.)

After additional refitting, we used the balloons and jet engines for the last time, to take us to Eniwetok Atoll, for our final fuel acquisition and for mounting the two additional Habitats we needed for rotational stability and producing sufficient food and oxygen for our passengers and crew.

We took off from the surface of the Pacific just east of Eniwetok, using our nuclear rocket engines mounted in "Shuttle Thrusters." These are stub-winged rocket vessels similar in appearance to the Space Shuttles, though considerably more powerful, being nuclear powered and carrying fuel tanks.

These shuttles also double as our emergency life-boats, should the need to abandon the Flying Castle ever come about. They can also be used to make excursions to other interesting locations in the solar system.

That needs to be engraved in stone in several languages, including binary and pictography, in the control center of the Flying Castle, so that in the unlikely event we must abandon her for whatever reason, the story can live on, even in our absence.

Takes a lot of space to record that in binary in stone....

The actual control center for the Flying Castle is on the Thrust Ring, but that would make a good project for decorating the rather austere blank walls of that edifice.

In addition to control centers, storage facilities, laboratories, and a maze of plumbing conduits, the Thrust Ring is a marvelous bit of construction itself.

We also use it to mount our experimental extremely long baseline optical telescope system.

Similar in function to the Keck Observatory, we use it to study nearby planets.

That's a good idea--instead of all that cheesy wall art from Ikea, we can just engrave our story in different languages.

Sounds good to me.

Can the telescope project as well as reflect? It might make a good defensive weapon, in a pinch.

No, the telescope is not designed to project in that manner. We could, however, use the telescope synchronizing equipment to coordinate the functioning of the meteor shield LASERs mounted on the Shuttle/Thrusters.

By timing the pulses originating from the lasers, we could more accurately either vaporize, bisect, or deflect (using the asteroids own material as a jet,) even larger objects.

I'll make the recommendation, and be sure you get the credit.

Oh, I forgot to mention ... we use the experimental extremely long baseline optical telescope (EELBOT?) system to study nearby planets orbiting other stars.

What if you just reversed polarity on the EELBOT receptors, while shifting the phase modulation sequencer to pulse on the Laser--this would result in an inverse image on the mirror of the telescope with an output that could be directed on a fixed coordinate.

Of course you know, as soon as we start seriously contemplating usage of the EELBOT as a controlled weapon (even just for defensive purposes), the Code Chartruse activists in the left quadrant of the castle will protest and might block access to the EELBOT generators.

Must proceed with caution on this.

I've been at home. I'm on semester break, but I still have my "big paper" to work on in the meantime. So I try to work on it every day.
