Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

Just testing to see if I can post from hyperspace...

It depends upon whose hyperspace you're in.

It wouldn't work from mine, f'rinstance.

That's true... people who force themselves to think outside the box ultimately push themselves into a new box!

Dang! The biggest successes of my career have been from going "outside of the box." Now you tell me I've boxed myself in by going outside of the box.

Do I escape the box by going outside again, or by turning around and tunneling in?

If you think there is a box, you're boxed in.

The imaginary box you're in has no more reality or limitations than that of a street mime.

Why do you think God created a Universe with spheres? No boxes, see?

Hyperspace:

“Can’t we go somewhere else?”

Dawn looked at her in surprise. “I thought you knew about hyperdrive! It’s like sending a package. Once you put it in the chute, it has to go all the way. If you don’t have enough Iridium, you can’t go anywhere. You won’t even start.”

My perception of the "box" is of the preset mindsets (yeesh! a term needing definition) people take on when addressing a problem. I've seen people, engineers even, get stuck in the ruts of "what's been done before." Going outside is absolutely no guarantee of success but it gives you more options, and chances for success.

From a company standpoint, one of the best procedures is to institute a dissemination of examples of problem-solving techniques that transcended the ordinary.

In my old company, this seemed to be a back-channel technique. The rumor-mill ran 24/7. One of the interesting stories to come out of it involved a technician who needed a particular circuit board to solve a problem for a major hotel.

The only available part was at company headquarters, but neither UPS nor FedEx could move it quickly enough.

"Well," said the technician, "don't we have a company helicopter?"

Now, that's thinking outside
the box.

Another technician who was told to solve the customer's problem realized that the customer's computer was inadequate to run the program properly.

He fixed the problem by buying the customer a new computer.

It was like coming across a gruesome late night head on collision on a dark empty highway. I was disgusted yet fascinated and could not turn away. I felt pity, yet I was intrigued. There's a dim light burning in the distance of this vast dark, empty space... a candle? Perhaps a warm hearth? I feel compelled to reach for it and discover the truth that lays hidden in the darkness.

Either that or I was bored.

I'll be wandering around and look forward to doing my part. Thanks.

Good morning. We're hoping to see our cat today, since it's Wednesday. She's Wednesday, I mean.

I wish it would get warm again; I don't feel like running on the treadmill!

And Darksheare hasn't even been around much lately.

I had a friend who always said he belonged to The Church In the Round: That way, he couldn't be cornered. ;o]

It probably works with boxes, too!

Ah! Now THAT's music to my ears! You wouldn't happen to know Darksheare, would you? Your first paragraph was slightly reminescent of some of his trash work. Great stuff!

Don't go into the lower levels without a guide. Besides the volatile zombies, the dust bunnies can be forces to be reckoned with. An there is something else down there...well, I mean, below the forges, even,...

I know that feeling. It's 35 degrees, and I have to walk half a mile to get my truck so I can run errands. I can't help but wonder how long this will last before I either lose the truck or my mind.

I turned on the gas fire in the dining room this morning, so now it's about 70 near the thermostat, and about 50 upstairs! Good thing Wednesday has a nice thick coat :-).

If Der Prinz gets another promotion, as he's hinting, I'm going to insist that we get dual-zone heat and air conditioning. Having the thermostat next to the kitchen (and the fake fire) is nuts.

Just gotta scare off all the newcomers from the lower levels don't'cha? ;-)

There are worse things than the occassional Balrog, dust bunnies, zombies, drunken dwarves, and spiderbots...

Much... much.... worse...

Treadmills are awfully boring, if effective.

I just picked up a Nordic Track and a full set of dumbells for a grand total of $20. Gotta love Craigslist! But now I'm remembering a lot of muscles I'd kinda forgotten about. Oops.
