Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

Most of us know when a politician is lying! ;)Yes, but, as Face points out, you can't always tell to what purpose they're lying.
Take my county commissioners, for instance. We know they're crooks, but exactly what they're getting out of approving construction in excess of our sewer capacity is unclear. Just cash from the builders, or is there more to it?
I'd really like to sit down with Roger Lane, a beeber-like device, and maybe a cat, and find out what he's really up to!

If you could have a super power, ala super hero/super villain, what would it be? The ability to repair the damage that causes mental illness. I can think of nothing worse then to not to be able to tell what is real and what is not because your brain is betraying you.
Include any negative side effects from using said power...
If you can repair you can also destroy. What about the people who are not ill but are just plain evil? Would I be able to resist the temptation to spin them in to a nightmare world as payment for the harm they caused to their victims?

If you could have a super power, ala super hero/super villain, what would it be? "Control energy in any form" is pretty comprehensive, DC!
I think I'd like to be able to live without sleep, like Evan Tanner in the novels by that guy who also wrote "The Burglar Who ..." series.
There are so many things I would like to learn and accomplish and do, and I don't have time, because when I finally get all the kids disposed of, I have to sleep!
The downside would be that one's mental and physical processes require sleep, so I'd probably gain weight and have some kind of "dreaming while awake" problems.

Well, yes, a County Commissioner has a surprising amount of clout in these parts ... but if the sewer system goes kaput, it's going to be unpleasant for Roger Lane, too, even if his property has a septic system.
After all, he has to go to work in the County Government Building (of which Bill has taken a nicely-composed photo for his Boy Scouts presentation), and it's going to smell really bad there!

Well money often equals power to many. Most people only want money because they see it as a way to gain power.

Don't confuse a hunger for power with a hunger for luxury - there are many who'd gladly stand the smell of human waste if it means they are in control.
Something Orwell pointed out in 1984.

We get a strong odor of chicken farms, on warm days when the wind's out of the southeast, but that's nothing compared to a sewage backup!

"The ability to repair the damage that causes mental illness." Again I refer you to James H. Schmitz and the link in post 2905. That's exactly what he explores in an entertaining story.
"I can think of nothing worse then to not to be able to tell what is real and what is not because your brain is betraying you."
I agree. I have explored this concept myself in a recent book. It is absolutely debilitating, but one must persevere anyway. The flexibility and determination of the human spirit is astonishing.
"If you can repair you can also destroy. ... Would I be able to resist the temptation to spin them in to a nightmare world as payment for the harm they caused to their victims?"
Yes. Evil is a defect. It is not normal. If you can fix it, there is no need or purpose for punishment.
Of course, killing them is easier, even in fiction. But you have to think about what that means as far as what it makes you.
