Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

"... page count is irrelevant to good storytelling." I think it might take more than five pages. That's about three thousand words. If I spread them out on the page, with some selected drawings, it will look more like a book.
But I still have to produce a better ending. I won't be satisfied with it until the kid in me is satisfied.

Thank you. I have read several stories lately that are good premise/ bad ending.
On the other hand, "Death and the Ugly Woman" was one that had a very good ending.

Abilene was speaking, itself not normally a bad thing.
But she was using her gift to the fullest, which was bad.
When Abilene used her voice, things happened.
And currently she was using her talents on Karsh, her voice weaving, rolling, twirling, tempting, drawing out, bewildering, commanding.
Karsh was standing, head tilted slightly, eyes closed, one hand held up as if warding, or catching.
It quivered slightly as if under a barrage of blows.
Bystanders swore that they heard a song, but no words.
Presently, Karsh gave a slight push with his hand, and Abilene ceased her attempts to influence Karsh with her voice.
Then Karsh pulled himself up to his full height, he still was shorter than the ghostly Abilene, and then started his own vocal efforts.
Abilene, stunned that Karsh even had the ability to influence anyone with his voice, was caught offguard and swept away by a flood of confusion and panic.
Especially when Karsh appeared to grow taller, encompassing the entire room in view until he was all she could see, hear, know.
The sound of his voice waxed powerful, the impressions she caught were of duty, power, trust, and restraint.
But the sounds she heard were heavy, a pulsing into her very core.
Karsh was gesturing with his hands as well, weaving them in intricate patterns as if they were telling a story of their own, himself dancing and sliding around the floor.
She felt as if she were drowning, and idly wondered if ghosts could drown.
Her hand caught at her throat just as Karsh released her from his 'grasp'.
She sank to the floor and wept ghostly tears.
"I told you dearest ancestor, your voice has no hold on me. Though I do appreciate the attempt at playing matchmaker. But, I do have a necromancer to fight. Shall we continuie this duet later?"

Very nice, Darks! (It needs a little polishing about the ninth line...)
You're casting a great image. Very interesting characters, and potential for great drama.

Morning, all. The good news is there is now a choice of homes for next month.
The bad news is that work is calling.

Woo hoo! Per corporate policy I've been going through Six-Sigma training (see Dilbert cartoons below), with a follow-on team project to demonstrate our understanding. It's been a long haul, but I *finally* checked in my part of the work -- it's not the finish line yet, but I can see it now!
