Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

I want an amendment that says: All laws passed by Congress sunset after twelve years and must be renewed.
I think that would keep them out of mischief. They would be so busy coming up with reasons that we need the old laws that they would have no time to write new ones.

In Vegas, we have garbage pick-up on schedule, no matter what the day or the weather.
The fountains at the Flamingo froze last night, and there was some black ice on some of the city streets. I suspect it was around 19 again, here, though the airport says it was "officially" 26.

I fully agree with you but...
I think that would keep them out of mischief.
I'm minded of the dictum the truth of which I learned early in my programming career: "Never underestimate the ingenuity of a fool!" Now apply that to congresscritters...

In Vegas, we have garbage pick-up on schedule, no matter what the day or the weather. Yah, but you know the Peoples' Soviet of Washington -- and we're in the Peoples' District of King, Martin Luther King. (Officially now -- I guess being a county named for a gay slaveowner, as I recall, was not good enough for The People here.)

You have a point.
But more the fool us for electing them.

Congresscritters can be summed up easily: Never underestimate stupid people in large groups.

Agreed. But too many people are paying too little attention and the pols have learned how to manipulate that. The garbage I've seen in our local elections that gets these jokers elected is incredible.

I'm gone for the night. I've been up WAY too long...since 4:00 AM, and I'm beginning to feel it.

Feisty bunch tonight. Compensation for not being able to stow our tub/shower units in the attic? (A real trick in this house, and we've considered a replacement!)

Money is the blood of politics. Unfortunately, we have ceded too much control over our own money to be able to corral those hosses now.
Guess I'll have to study Ayn Rand again. How do you get out of the system?
Even Bill Gates had to kowtow to the civil "servants."

You see that, Poser, right? Now that I've stirred up the waters, I'm going to bed. Ta! 'Face, "Ta" is an opening verb fragment in (Irish) Gaelic ("Tha" in Scots Gaelic, roughly equivalent to English "am" -- "Tha mi" is "I am")... please complete your sentences! *\;-)

Guess I'll have to study Ayn Rand again. How do you get out of the system? Pretty difficult, ever since the '96 Ex-Pat-Tax. 7? 8? 10? years it takes, if you take up new citizenship elsewhere.
Can't figure why they didn't make it 100 years, for now.

"... we've considered a replacement!" Depending on whether you want a "walk-in" or not, the changeover needn't be too traumatic.
Your old unit can be destructively dismantled. Then a new tub, and a "three-piece" surround, can be put in its place. Doing it carefully, and properly, could take a couple of weeks.
But first, you have to decide what features you want, and whether any compromise is needed. And then, how much work you may choose to do yourself, versus paying exorbitant sums for quality craftsmanship.

Just popping in, as I do ever-so-infrequently...
Thinking of you all, and my special thoughts to those suffering the nasty, nasty weather Stateside! *Shudders at the news reports*
Y'all okay there?
