Remote detection satellites are used by the intelligence branch of the military to conduct mind control exercises in the theater of war. All this technology is dependent upon the higher branches of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The array of satellites safe in deep space cover the entire earth making the mind control intelligence program widely successful. Be amazed as you view this military program break out of the box. Go to the following web site that shows a real-time mind control zombie being manipulated by satellite and the military. www.MindControlUSA.com

The third photo, and the final montage, are stunning in their beauty.
And I really appreciate the work that went into them.
They do differ, however, from my previous descriptions of the articulation involved. I have been decribing the connection between the Castle Enclosure and the thrust ring as being two jointed arms on internal biaxial trunnions.
KPs depiction is more elegant, and solves some engineering problems, but it wasn't what I had described.
He also beefed up the outside supports for the A and B Habitats, but he accurately showed how the supports for them move along the outside rim of the Thrust Ring as the spin-up proceeds.
If anyone should choose to try to replicate or modify this effort, please keep in mind: The support arms for the Flying Castle and A& B Habitats are only as large as they need to be for the strength necessary and to house conduits, piping, and tubular elevator shafts.
The outside dimension of the tubular elevator conduits are only fifteen meters, but we would need multiple shafts to accomodate traffic. I would suggest at least six. That would mean the support arms would need to be at least one hundred meters in diameter, possibly a little more.
With the Thrust Ring described as about 350 by 500 feet in its cross-section, the support arms would then easily fit on the curved-in-one-dimension-but-nearly-flat inner and outer walls. (Sorry for the mixed standards.)

in other words, a photon merry-go-round spinning at the speed of light ! Heh heh heh.

It was a pretty problem.
I knew we needed three Habitats, of approximately equal mass, in order to have dynamic stability once in space.
I didn't want to break up the Castle Habitat, so that meant we needed to add two external Habs. The other problem was: How do you launch into space without at some point undergoing zero gee? (All of the engineeering systems of the Castle, including the moat and the toilets, were designed for a gravitational field.)
My answer was to build a Thrust Ring, and attach all Habs to it. The thrusters would be attached to the Thrust Ring, principally, and the Habs would be attached to it during launch, and would slowly deploy to a spinning bola configuration before the thrust ended.
This adjustment during the launch profile necessitated also going from a bi-lateral symmetry, with the Flying Castle centrally positioned, and the additional Habs at each side, -- to a three-way rotating balance during free fall.
Once in orbit, the Flying Castle Hab swings out, and the two others detach and swing and rotate out to a three way stability. After the spin-up to artificial gravity, the thrust is diminished and shut off.
During the whole launch process, at no time is there anything less than .34 gees of acceleration, though it does max out at about 2.5 to 3 or 4.

(When did my beard turn the same color as my shirt collar?) The answer depends on two factors:
Whether the front of your shirt is the same color as the back.
How recently you changed your shirt.

I was admiring the way your pivoting structure solved some engineering problems, but I had already committed to my two brawny support arms.
We'll have to consult on starship design, lest I make a similar error.

And I just now noticed that your hubs for A and B rotated as they moved around the circumference. I hadn't seen that detail before.
Thanks for all the work you did.

again, my pleasure.
one of these days, I'd like to attempt the dome again - I don't like gettin' whupped.
oh, about the hubs - they're basically scaled-up boring-heads

I've been making fun of middle age.
From a few posts back...
(Why bifocals? Font inflation. Today's 14 point is the same as 2 point was in 1957.)
BTW, I'm in the market for a new car. This ought to do it.

a better wish: may his fingernails be jagged, and may his sweat be salty.
we've had a lot of break-ins around here lately.
In addition to beefing up the home security a bit, I've taken to patrolling my neighborhood irregularly, armored and plainly armed.
the cops know, and tacitly approve.
the hospital knows, and openly approves.
the perps know, and seem to have found it wise to move their activities elsewhere.

The attacks are up everywhere, KP.
There are nightly stabbings and/or shootings, as well as robberies every day/night in Ottawa, to say nothing of Toronto.
And the names always seem to have an Ahmed, mohammed, or Hussein attached to them.
You are a smart man.
I'm glad to know you.
