I agree a minimal plus one needs to be implemented. Div 1 football is the only major sport to not have an official champion from the NCAA.
I watch most but not all of the Gator games this season and it seemed like they should have won the one they lost and lost a few they won.
I don't know if its luck or character but I'd not put too much stock in the talking-heads when it comes to this game.
Is this an opera or a football game?
I posed this question on another board, so I'll let it fly here...does USC start next yr ranked #1?
Here it goes...
Against the Spread (and I have to go by the spread I quoted in the thread):
12-12-1 with the Purdue game being a PICK so there was no spread to go with....
I'm doing much better straight up:
I'm 18-8 there....
Consistancy at the QB position is always a bad thing. It speaks to there talent level that they were able to win inspite of using a 2 qb setup.
Maybe....
I'm not sure yet....
It depends on who leaves
"And when Baltimore (and the accessory to murder) wins it all next month it will once again show what a joke college football's ending is."
Exactly I bet half the announcers and 90% of the so-called football fans in NYC have no idea what the Ravens record is.
The announcer notes that Oklahoma is the program with the most wins since WWII.
(Also the most probations...)
Michigan looked flat....
I think they put whatever they had into the game in Columbus and never got it back.
LOL, I wonder why they didnt go back to its beginning? Oh thats because they are third in the Big 12 for all time wins.
I watched the MCS Computer Bowl at Boise State's field last night while I was at a New Year's party at a friend's house. Talk about the wrong game to watch as your first HDTV football game!
Where did they dust off Barry Switzer for this one???
It was a good game
"I posed this question on another board, so I'll let it fly here...does USC start next yr ranked #1?"
In the minds of some based on the media's assesment of the incoming freshman. Of course none of these idiots have ever watched a High School game in Florida.
Oh I know!! I swear I was seeing spots every time I turned away from the HDTV.
Michigan hadn't played ball in almost seven weeks. I think the layoff took the edge off.
His BBQ restaraunt?
I wonder how much of it was just rust. They hadn't played a down since that game in Columbus, while USC had at least played in a couple since then.
"Michigan looked bad..."
No, Michigan played their asses off and just got outplayed by a better team, with better players and a better coaching staff.
