I admit to being a Gator fan esp against OHIO. And I know on paper we do not have a chance. But remember last year? Rush always says the safest place to be is against conventional wisdom.
Besides, I think OSU has too much offense for Florida and Florida has too little offense.
So no matter the bowl record, the one thats most important you guys will win.
Michigan scores against the 2nd team
I know and I'll let the GAYtor fans talk their smack now....
Hell I might even pick the GAYtors just for the hell of it....
I don't know...
I'm still formulating that pick...
I'm watching the Fiesta Bowl....
Can you imagine if we had the college system in the NFL (NewYork Football League)? Every year the Gints would be champs NO MATTER WHAT! Thank God there aren't any even half decent New York College football teams.
The Fiesta Bowl is on Fox now....
Hopefully it'll be more entertaining than the Rose Blowout was....

Well I live in AZ, and yeah I know what you mean.
I am waiting for the Millenium Falcon to drop off the Trophy.
you're probably kicking the ever loving crap out of me...
Let me get a count....
I really thought the Rose was going to be one of the more entertaining games. Michigan just looked wretched.
I'm really looking forward to this game between Boise St and OU.
It's also great to see Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson together.
Texas. Why, am I supposed to all of sudden say this POS system is great just because my team was finally picked to go to the 2-team beauty contest?
It's AT LEAST 3 full seasons away (TV Contract won't expire until after the 2009 bowl season)
3-years isn't that far away. They won't add a plus-one this year, but don't rule it out after that. Too many coaches changing their stance and advocating for a playoff now. They aren't the presidents, but it is another big crack in the coalition that had fought a playoff. As long as the bowl system is protected, playoffs are an option. The TV networks are also interested. A plus-one isn't really any more difficult to pull off than adding a 5th BCS bowl, which was proposed and then implemented over just a single off-season.
hey...the best team does not always win....or is unprepared so anything can happen
Michigan looked bad...
Michigan looked bad...
SUre are alot of BSU fans there, good for them. I kind of hope they do good though because that would provide yet another reason for a playoff.
Yep, Bears vs. Chargers and the rest with .500 or better records play exhibitions. How exciting. And when Baltimore (and the accessory to murder) wins it all next month it will once again show what a joke college football's ending is.
