Archeologists in Burnt City announced unprecedented discovery of an artificial eyeball, dated to 4800 years ago, in this historic site... [D}irector of Burnt City archeology excavation team, Mansour Sajadi, said that this eyeball belongs to a sturdy woman who was between 25 to 30 years of age at the time of death. Skeletal remains of the woman were found in grave number 6705 of Burnt City's cemetery. Regarding the material used to make this artificial eyeball, Sajadi said: "The material this artificial eyeball is made of has not yet been determined and will be assessed through later testing. However, at first glance it seems natural tar mixed with animal fat has been used in making it." Initial studies on the eyeball also suggest formation of an abscess in the eyelid due to long-term contact with the eyeball. Moreover, remaining eyelid tissues are still evident on this artificial eyeball... Initial anthropological studies on the remaining skeleton of the woman to which this artificial eyeball belong revealed that she was a hybrid woman who died 4800 years ago between the ages of 25 to 30... Spreading over a 300,000 hectare area, Burnt City was recently recognized as mainland-Iran's largest prehistoric site.

Now wait a second... 300,000 hectares, or 150 hectares?Archaeologists find Burnt City's grain storehouseA part of the Burnt City's grain storehouse was unearthed during the archaeological stratigraphy of the 5200-year-old site in southeastern Iran. A team of archaeologists led by Mansur Sajjadi began the excavations in early November in an area measuring 2x50 meters... "We found remnants of a building in one of the strata during the excavations. The team performed some tests on soil gathered from the building's grounds and found traces of 5000-year-old grain. Near the entrances of the building, we also discovered some beads which confirmed our idea that the building is a grain storehouse," he explained... Covering an area of 150 hectares, the site was one of the world's largest cities at the dawn of the urban era. It was built circa 3200 BC and destroyed some time around 2100 BC. The city had four stages of civilization and was burnt down three times. Since it was not rebuilt after the last time it was burnt down, it has been named the Burnt City.

Any idea what is a hybrid woman?
Sounds painful.
That was my question. I have never seen the term, hybrid woman, before.
To find Hybrid Woman look in your Funk & Wagnall's. You'll see a pic of Helen Thomas.
Well, she should have taken the fake eye out after eight hours a day, but the instructions were hard to read...
Blam, I just knew you'd like that, so I made sure I left it in. :')
Hybrid woman?
????
Similar, I think, to a "No-Till" woman...
Oh, please! That's a mongrel!!!!
Thanks for the reply. Now, what's a "No-Till" woman?
Welllll. A No-Till woman is one who has been chemically altered to improve fertility without relying on additional tilling prior to harvest.
A Hybrid woman is similar, except these results are usually achieved by selective breeding for desirable characteristics.
Either way, a little triple-12 never hurts...
:-)
The answer can be found on Led Zep IV:
Hybrid mama said the way you move
gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove
Oh, oh, child, way you shake that thing
Gonna make you Burnt, city make you sting.
Half human half alien.
BTW -- the artifact has been misplaced but the museum says they will be keeping an eye out . . .
?
Strange responses.
Of course I ain't bright!
LOL. I went to the first Led Zepplin concert ever in the Filmore-West in SF...many 'moons' ago. That's still the best concert I ever attended.
For that joke, you get fifty *lashes*.
