                  My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good morning to you Kathy. I bet you have snow. None here, bright sunshine, going for a walk later on.

Lovely card, thanks.

More fun than a barrel: Tokyo's Ueno Zoo makes monkeys work for their New Year's treat -- they have to pull the bell rope correctly to release the fruits and veggies.

Siberian fun: Ice fishing is a great way to pass the time on frigid Lake Beloye in the Russian town of Kemerovo, known for its charming waterfront incinerators.

Now, that was just too good of an opportunity to pass up taking that photo. Gritty birds for having a sense of humor...

There's a huge variety of dragons! I did an image search and unfortunately had to quit it before getting anywhere, but there a LOT of pages!

I have a few treasured ones. I just really like the myth of the creature.

Answer: The term comes with a 10% discount.

Answer: They are the only ones who have the time.

Question: What is the common term for someone who enjoys work and refuses to retire?

Answer: NUTS!

Question: Why are retirees so slow to clean out the basement, attic or garage?

Question: Why does a retiree often say he doesn't miss work, but misses the people he used to work with?
Answer: He is too polite to tell the whole truth.

My favorite one:

QUESTION: What do you do all week?
Answer: Mon to Fri. Nothing, Sat & Sun, I rest!

Share this one with all the retirees that you know. I'm sure they can relate to some of them! AND, If you have not yet retired, look what you have to look forward to.
