It came to me in the middle of the night (when all worrisome things come to me it seems) that although I have the faucets running, if my pipes burst there would be no way for me to turn off the main water supply since the access is sealed under 3-4 inches of solid ice in the front yard.

I am going to tackle that problem here in a bit.

It's 15 degrees outside right now. Gonna get really cold tonight.

It's 5 degrees here. And windy. Brr! And just plain beautiful. I love sun-on-snow. The roads are mostly clear so all I have to do is enjoy.

Hmm, probably-two-hour meeting starts in ten minutes. I should make sure I'm ready.

We're supposed to be getting down to a low of 7 this evening. Brrrr. Can't complain, though, cause this winter has been vey mild, so far.

Don't know about Rose & Bear, but our David called just a little while ago, and it's snowing in Austin. *snicker*
