Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
is that spam?
Stripping wallpaper....*shudder*
When you say that, it sounds really dirty, Corin.
The pups are getting a bit stocky, so one or two days a week without lunch is good. I mind more leaving them all day in their cage.
No problem, I just wanted to know if they'd be really starving or just trying to con me.
Come home whenever, I will get my workout in and then we can both do the basement.
How long have you known me now? ;-)
We only feed Sam twice a day. At one point the vet told us to cut it down to 1 time a day. We just cut back on the amounts.
He still could lose about 10 lbs. to be at his best weight.
The pups are getting close to full size so we want to keep a close eye on their weight. Neutron looks a bit chubby to me, in the last week or so.
You can make anything sound dirty. It is kind of like how saying "Mmm! Kinky!" works anytime, no matter what the other person just said. Gets you some strange looks though...
That cats on the other hand we just leave hughe piles of food and let them figure it out. They are both overweight but stable.
I bought Sam a different brand of food the other day. Wife watched him pretty much all day ignore it. Then the cat went over and ate some of it. He waited for her to finish, then ate it.
It's like she's his own personal taste tester.
Our cats are picky. They will not eat ANYTHING but their catfood. It took me 4 trys to get them to eat canned catfood one time when I had a free sample. They ignore tunafish, and will not touch and human food. We had a chicken carcass sitting out over night the other day and they did not touch it. Glasses of water left unattended, however, will not fail to be sampled by them.
It it is not Cat Chow it is not for them. Stupid cats.
I dunno. Have you ever tasted the Cat Chow?
Okay. That's it.
I'm goin' home.
It is times like this that I really wish I had not told someone I would for sure have something done by the end of the day...
No kidding.
There's thunder. Weird. I guess it's our turn to get hit.... not looking like gamicon this weekend, though.
Drat! Oh well, more time for work on the basement.
Good thing we have all we need for a weekend of work down there.
Still busy here. No end in sight.
Exactly! They always have the requisite shots of the salt and sand trucks lining up to hit the roads. So silly.
Just about done here.
Excellent, I got my full workout in. Whew.
Great!
Heading home now.
So....were you raking against the wind? I had a good tailwind coming home this afternoon.
Yes, I think it's garlic....yummy!
