It was! Sheesh. I will not give in to terror demands. I've just never seen it go well.
I could switch to fluorescent bulbs and the train will probably still hit her. At least she won't be cold waiting for it to come.

It was the immediacy of it that really got me. That it had to be fixed NOW. TODAY. Tommorrow will be too late!! If you can't get to it until next week then you may as well not even bother!! Thanks for nothing!! I guess we'll just run this little girl over with a train to show you how pointless this all is!!
Do you get to leave early when you have to come in to restart servers?
One of the many things I like about my job is I put in eight hours, they're somewhat flexible, and if I'm out at 4, well, that's fine.
Yeah, I'll take off early unless something comes up.
I have a library run to make, so that'll work.
Ungh...haven't had coffee or breakfast, but it's hard to get motivated to go get coffee when you haven't had coffee. They have a cafe here, though. And that way I don't have to do traffic again.

I saw the visual, but we had the sound down during the commericals. We were working on coordinating our calendars.
It's pretty ugly until August, which would be the month where we ~do not~ have a rental house at thebeach.

That's the way things go, isn't it? When you can get away, you can't get to anything.
Talon's folks are probably coming to visit us in the next month or so (I need to get the house in order) just before my brothers come. And I can't take extra time off for any of those visits. Bah.
What time is the snow supposed to start for y'all? I think the snow is starting later this evening here.
We can get the time off in August. I'm just not willing/able to pay full price this time for a rental. We'll get back to that next year. I don't intend to ask my brother and sister-in-law again.

Good grief. Even scarier are the comments about it. Do we even ~teach~ english or critical thinking anymore?
Sometimes I get tired of the flame wars and the tired out talking points here on FR... but then I spend a little time out there on the high-volume sites like yahoo and youtube... and I'm reminded that we do actually have a pretty high quality of discussion going on here. Most of the time.
