About 6am one day until about 10pm the following day, roughly 40 hours. I did it for work. I would never do it again.

85? Was that for work? Were you in the military on deployment?
Longest for me was maybe about 48 hours, and I'll not do that again.

I've ever gone without sleep was about 85 hours, with the help of a ton of coffee, Diet Coke, and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.
Without hurling??!!
I knew some hippies who were on strict macrobiotic diets. Brown bread and rice. They would stay up for as long as they could trying to achieve "free" hallucinations. One guy said he got there after 3 whole days and nights being awake.

I have no idea. I'm usually too drunk to remember how long I've been up.

I can go a little over two days before I start hallucinating (dreaming) when I blink too long. Haven't tried it for almost ten years though I could probably go a little longer.

Recently, with one of my children sick and in hospital after surgery, I reckon I was awake for 40 hours before I got a cat nap. It took me a good week to recover.
As you can see I am still drained with this major run-on sentence.

Junior year of college, 1st semester finals week, I woke up on mid-day on Tuesday, and only caught two half hour naps until Friday evening. (Not so much due to the finals, but due to a final project that I was still trying to finish). I arrived back home Friday evening, but I couldn't get to sleep - I tossed and turned in bed, and caught maybe another half hour of sleep. It wasn't until SATURDAY evening that I was finally able to sack out.
