We will never waste your lives for power.

We will hold our leaders to a high ethical standard and when they succumb to lust for power, WE WILL HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.

If we forget this, please, please, please, remind us.

We need you to do this. You are America as much as we are. Let's go.

(However, it's really HARD to find that thread among some of the other vitriol...I would never have found it without the link.)

If Free Republic joined with Daily Kos and DU to denounce corruption, cronyism, and dishonesty in government — regardless of our political stripes — we'll all be better for it.

We denounced it for years under your boy Bill Clinton. We've been denouncing it in the form of Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, et al as recently as today.

We got rid of our sexual predator the second we found out about him. Yours are still in power.

We make our criminals resign, and usually they go to prison. Yours are still serving in Congress, including some under current indictment.

When are you gonna clean house? Because until your side does so, puff pieces like this are just so much Kumbayah-singing.

Are you for real... History will record that in 2004 the Democrats who were not the party in power saw that George W. Bush for taking the war to the terrorists had the Potential to become the 21st century equivelant to FDR. Obviously that would have ended their party in politics for many years so they embarked on a misssion to undermine George W. Bush.... So what we see today is the fruition of tearing down the man that took action....
