Governor Lt. Governor (not officially called) Insruance Commisioner Secretary of State
In California, as expected, the combination of Fiscal Conservatism with Social Liberalism seems to win the day. Not approving, but observing.
I did not vote for Ahnold. But, otherwise, I voted straight party line and voted against all liberal proposals.
The GOP doing well in California and getting beaten in Virginia!
Has McClintock won?
John Garamendi (Dem) 1,630,995 47.1 %
Tom McClintock (Rep) 1,646,897 47.6 %
James D. King (AI) 26,420 0.7 %
Donna J. Warren (Grn) 90,032 2.6 %
Lynnette Marie Shaw (Lib) 53,780 1.6 %
Stewart A. Alexander (PF) 15,331 0.4 %
that's also only 45.4% ( 11384 of 25090 ) precincts reporting as of Nov 7, 2006 at 11:12 pm
May I ask, did you write in someone for Governor?
We're a red state now, baby!!!
The media is now ignoring this btw. No surprise there!

Chuck Poochigian (Rep) 1,391,262 40.6 %
Michael Sutton Wyman (Grn) 75,071 2.2 %

Jack Harrison (PF) 38,702 1.1 %
45.4% ( 11384 of 25090 ) precincts reporting as of Nov 7, 2006 at 11:12 pm
If Tom can't pull this one out (and the votes have been trending Democratic during the past couple of hours), then today's election will officially be bad.

look at those eminent domain + parental notification numbers - those aren't good.
Sad but not suprising Jerry Brown won the job of Atty Gen !
That guy Pochoogian- whatever his name is, I did not see him winning ~
Mike Savage endorsed Brown ~
I voted mostly GOP but some Libertarian .
Leading......not yet called.
Some Libertarian candidate - I don't even now remember the name. :-)))
I did not vote for him. Never have, never will.
Jerry as AG! I guess the murderers and rapists get "movies" of their choice (cable). He sponsored magazines for these sickos as Governor.
I'm afraid San Francisco and Los Angeles may put Garamendi on put.
Looks like the spend, spend, spend, bond measures will all pass. I thought dems were upset over the federal deficit in WA, guess it's okay for the state to have a deficit, but not the president, even though we're spending more in WA because of the WOT.
Mixed results.....
All Bond measures passed - Proves Californians are PATHETIC at math. They don't like high taxes, but can't seem to stop the penchant for Bond funding and spending.
86 and 87 went down in flames - Great news for gas prices and a huge slap in the face to the smoking police!
Measure A - Protecting vast areas of land from building FAILED!
Public Funding of Campaigns - Down in flames! Great news for Free Speech and Democracy.
good news is most of san fran is in.... But L.A is still out. But still is san diego...
Rudy Giuliani.
