NBC has been calling them 1st and the networks are following them right off the cliff.
ALL of them use "exit polling" in their "formula" they use to call the races.

Does anyone have a real link to votes being tallied?

I don't get exit polled. They can take one look at me and know that I'm uninterested. I can be 'difficult' on occasion.

"Stick around, I think they're going to call the 2016 presidential race for Chelsea Clinton before the night's over."
No. They're taking that back.
They say that Kerry's presidential victory in '08 created a red state backlash that lasted 20 years.
No dice, Chels!

Stop watching it. Watch the History Channel or something. The news is crap for at least another 2 hours. I agree, but it's like looking at a wreck, you just can't help watching.
I think I'll just do some reloading.

Thank you. I've been waiting around the state website for nothing.

I believe there were over 100,000 absentee ballots in MD this year.
This is just nuts.

lets pull the wrong exits but still call races...god fox is just as bad as the rest lately
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
They all have to play the game. Each one competes with the rest to be the first to make the call. Fox had interviews with Dean, and statements from Schumer/Reid and nothing from republicans yet. They are covering the media story, country puts dems in power reacts to anti Bush anti iraq mood of country.

Close Race, Absentee Votes Could Delay Election Results

here is my prediction, severe losses for the GOP WITHOUT loss of the Senate or probably the House. Final result: energized Republican voters in 2008, and a secure Senate Judiciary Committee for Pro-life appointments to the S.C

I'm cleaning some of my guns. Right now I'm working on one that I haven't had out for a while. A Stevens "pocket rifle". It's about 100 years old, a .22 single shot. A neat little gun. Here's a picture of a similar one:

Dont worry about it... they are just trying to get the LIBS all giddy and happy before the votes are counted then when the carpet gets pulled from under them.... LOL it will be fun to watch.
STEEL will win. ERLICH will win too.

It blows my mind that nobody in the media is taking the absentee ballots into account, which surely look like they will be needed.
I'm thinking this night is about over for me. The Repubs narrowly keep the senate and house, and Steele and Ehrlich will win down the line.
