He probably had crowns and porcelain veneers done to get that glossy "televangelist" smile. He wouldn't get "meth mouth" unless he was a long time user. I've heard that lots of gays use meth prior to their sexual encounters, especially in group situations.
I feel sorry for his wife and kids. I hope she gets a good divorce attorney and gets herself checked out for STDs

The issue here isn't homosexual behavior. It is cheating on his wife (if he is lying, that is), possibly exposing her to HIV. It is also gross hypocrisy, given his prominence in the political fight to stop gay marriage. He should have just left his wife, years ago, and gotten into a stable same-sex relationship. Then he could become an Episcopal bishop instead of an Evangelical megachurch pastor, and liberals would be happy. (The meth is a different matter--if he is using meth, he might need treatment and soon, meth can rip a person apart. I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for this guy, but no one deserves that fate. Nor AIDS if he is also guilty of the sexual allegations.)

Jimmy Swaggert already used up that excuse. Bill Clinton did too ~ remember, "he didn't inhale", and he "did not have sex with that woman".
I think it's something in the water down there in Texarkana or something makes these guys and their cousins do this.

The way the MSM is trying to get A=D so you won't vote Republican is one of the primary reasons I haven't watched a full evening MSM newscast in 10 years.
If it wasn't for the political connection to Bush, made mostly in the fertile brain cells of the MSM, the followers of this guy could just wash their hands of him and repair their church. Beware of people who chase personal fame and celebrity in the name of Religion.
I don't want to offend any sincere folks who followed this guy -- they don't need anybody criticizing them. The coverage of the sordid affair and the use of it to blast all religious people is the real story IMHO.
Well, I've heard of him and have seen him several times before, but I couldn't tell you where or why - probably on one of the Christian TV stations.
I always thought he had "crazy eyes" and just didn't like his look, but he was allegedly on "our" team, so kept my mouth shut. Even if it all turns out to be a lie, I still don't like him, heh.

Just heard exactly that from of their national kooks who stopped by a conservative evangelical's radio show to rub his nose it the Haggard story.
"Hi Mike, this is Art. Hey, I was just calling to see if we could get any more. Either $100 or $200 supply."
Sure doesn't sound like its the first time be bought drugs from the gay hooker. Haggard's biggest problem now is not his past misdeeds, it's his inability to come clean about what he's done.
