can you provide a direction?
north, south, south west northeast?
- Look West and not as high as the bright star Vega -
It will be low in the west-northwest. And because the clocks are going back tonight, you won't see it any later than 8:45 PM tomorrow.
As soon as I got home from church, I found this ping waiting for me; thanks. I see it will actually be in the head of Hercules after tonight, according to the star charts posted. Unfortunately I live on the east side of Kentucky's second-largest city, so light pollution is a potential problem. I saw a fuzzy spot or two that could be the comet, but I can't be sure this late. Maybe I will have better viewing conditions tomorrow.
You sure it wasn't the Lunesta butterfly?
Just kidding.....

Thanks,

My pleasure.
Hopefully I'll be able to see this one.

north, south, south west northeast?
Sorry, I've been out of town for the Edwards AFB airshow all weekend. I see that there are some directional links available now. Did you ever spot the comet?
Thanks for the map. I can find Bootes, and if we ever get a clear sky I can find Hercules. Last clear sky was in 1976. Light pollution.
