It's Friday and time for one of my favorite TV cartoons, Bugs Bunny's "Little Red Riding Rabbit." Sing along with Red as she skips towards Grandma's housefrom the cartoon:
The five o'clock whistle's on the blink/the whistle don't blow so whattaya think/my papa still works in the factory/ cuz he doesn't know what TIME...it happens to BE...
Nothing sweeps away the blues better than a good cartoon. Whether it is the manic humor of Tex Avery, the societal humor of South Park and The Simpsons, or the computer generated quirkiness of Jimmy Neutron, life seems to get better after ten minutes watching TV cartoons.
What are your favorites cartoons? What cartoons do you despise? And when will the Wile E. Coyote (super genius) ever catch the Road Runner? Don't be shy Post your photos and theme songs you recall from your childhood memories.
Have a great Friday and a great weekend!

Yes, the Christmas special is truly my favorite... I do love what Linus does for the Charlie Brown Tree... and I love Linus' message on the true meaning of Christmas! It is wonderful that they still show that every year!!! Linus is truly the resident philosopher of the gang. He is such a loyal friend to Charlie Brown.
We are major Peanuts fans in this house!!!

I hated when my son stopped watching cartoons. I love the old WB toons and some of the newer Nicktoons like Angry Beavers...

My favorites were actually the old shorts that showed what they thought the future would be like, from highways to homes to cars. Kind of like an animated 'world's fair'. I can't seem to find them anywhere, but I'd love to see them again.
