It was a smallish older black woman in a big hat. I don't know Victoria (Tory?) Peterson to look at her so I don't know if that's who it was. She went bat sh1t talking about she was scared of the Duke students and all the problems they were causing for black people and then went off on a long incomprehensible tirade that somehow ended up in a rant about black people with hepatitis in prison as she stormed out of the room.

I saw her once in the early days ranting and raving about a massive consiracy to aler DNA evidence. A certifiable lunatic. Sounds like her from your description.

Peterson is an older (but not "old") black woman with a mouth that never stops, but she isn't what I would call smallish from the one time I saw her on TV. Not big, not small, but everything else you said about the woman sounds like Peterson. She's a racist gadfly running about looking for racism behind every tree and exaggerating what she finds which is mostly nothing, and calls herself a black activist.
